Lorenzo pov

I can't help but to stare at the girl laying next to me in my bed. Every feature on her is perfect, she doesn't have any flaws

I reach my hand out and rub my thumb on her bottom lip and I sigh

She's so beautiful

I look at her hair, she's going to be pissed when she wakes up, her hair is all over the place, I try to push her hair back without waking her up, Her bonnet came off

I stare at her, hoping she doesn't wake up and think I'm some creep watching her sleep

I think I'm in love

Realization hits me, I'm in love with her

I hop out of bed and pace back and forth, this has never happened before, I never caught feelings for someone, let alone love them so fast

This cannot be happening to me

I open the door and shut it quietly and rush to my office

I have to work, it occupies my mind and keeps me from reality. Then I remember that Alessandro is coming home today

I shipped him off to my parents house, because I wanted alone time with Reńee

God how could I be so stupid

Guess I'll just pick him up early, I call my mother and she answers on the third ring "hello" I hear her voice through the phone

"Hi mom, you can send him home now" I tell her, he's getting on my private plane home with security, my parents moved back to Italy after the title Don was passed to me

"Awe why I miss having children in my home" my mother says "just a couple more days please"

I pinch the bridge of my nose and say "yeah, uh that's fine"

Now I have to occupy myself

I was planning to have Alessandro come back so she is busy with him, they're barely home they always go out to the park or even to the mall sometimes

Me and my mother say our goodbyes and I hang up

I leave my office and see Joey eating breakfast at the island, he looks up and stands with perfect posture "Don" he bows to me and I nod

"I'm going to be busy all day, so no one can come into my office today" I say to him sternly and he nods

I rush back into my office and lock the door

This is totally going to backfire

Reńee pov

I have been bored out of my mind

I don't know if he's ignoring me or is just at the office but I haven't seen him for days

He's definitely ignoring me

I just feel like if he didn't want to be bothered with me he literally could've just said that

I roll my eyes and get out of my bed, Sophia is supposed to be coming today since she couldn't come the other days

I'm so excited to see her, I haven't seen her in it feels like months but it's only been a couple of weeks

I walk downstairs in my Nike pro spandex shorts and a spaghetti strap shirt, I feel like I haven't eaten in forever so why not make myself breakfast

As soon as I walk in the kitchen they all turn away from me and I look at them weirdly "ok weirdos good morning to you too" I open the fridge and look for the eggs

Now Who put them all the way down there

I reach down and all I hear is groans "ew perverts" I say coming back up and giving them a disgusted look

All I hear is foot steps, loud ones, coming towards the kitchen but I pay it no mind because they all walk that way

I reach back down to grab them and all I feel is a hand on my waist and I go to hit them but my fist get caught by their hand and I look up to see who it is and it's Lorenzo

I snatch out of his grip and reach back down to grab my eyes "What are you wearing?!" He says to me and I roll my eyes "à quoi cela ressemble-t-il? Je porte des vêtements" I say knowing he doesn't understand me
(Translation: what does it look like? I'm wearing clothes)

I hear a chuckle and look up and it's Sophia

I smile and run to her "oh mon Dieu tu m'as tellement manqué" I jump on her and hug her and she hugs me back "oh I missed you too"
(Translation: oh my gosh I missed you)

"It's been too long" I say smiling and I jump down and she chuckles "it hasn't been that long we talk everyday"

"You know what I mean loser" I say rolling my eyes "Come on, come meet the guys" I say grabbing her arm "guys this is Sophia, my best friend that I talk about all the time" and they chuckle and say hello to her

She eyes all of them "come see my bedroom" I drag her throughout the whole house

"Show me his room" She says smirking and I say "Sophia, I can't do that" she laughs and points to the one door we didn't go in

"Oh is it... this room?" She says and I shake my head giggling, she opens the door and we walk into his bedroom "ok you seen it now allez"
(Translation: come on)

We walk out of his room and back downstairs and Lorenzo still looks like he's mad but I really don't care "so what do you want to do?" I ask her and she says "let's go out to dinner"

"On me of course" a deep voice says and we look over and it's Lorenzo

"Oh umm... if it's alright with Sophia" I say shrugging

I'm definitely not passing up a free meal

Sophia is glaring at him and she smiles "of course it's ok with me"

I squeal and say "come on let's get ready"

Once again I end up in his room getting ready while Sophia is in the shower

"I don't like that little stunt you pulled in the kitchen this morning" I hear and of course it's Lorenzo talking out his ass

I ignore him and continue to do my makeup "I know you hear me talking" he says walking up to me

"And you see me doing something" I say attitude seeping through my voice, he looks at me through the mirror

"Don't play with me Darling" he gets close to my ear "let's not have a repeat of this morning, yes?" he kisses my neck softly and I nod

"I'm still mad at you though" I say pushing him away and he groans "let's get through dinner then we can discuss it" he says not waiting for an answer and just walks out the door

I scoff and continue to get ready

Dinner will be interesting
