I sigh as I continue to clean up the dinner that me and Alessandro prepared

It's currently 12:10 am, I sent Alessandro to bed because it was getting late and he was getting tired. He tried he's hardest to stay up and wait for Lorenzo and when I sent him upstairs to go to sleep he cried the whole way to his room

Alessandro wanted to go all out for Father's Day well because he really loves and adores his dad and I just feel really bad for him because Lorenzo basically blew him off today for work

God he's such an asshole

I dump the food off the plates and  in the trash can and begin to put the dishes in the sink and wash them

I can't stop seeing Alessandro's sad face. I shake my head when I hear the door open and heavy footsteps coming towards the kitchen

I feel arms wrap around me and I roll my eyes instantly "Hey baby" He whispers in my neck and kisses the side of my neck

I push him away with my hip and continue to wash the dishes "I'm sorry Darling I-" he says but I cut him off

"Where is your so called second in command? Your son really wanted to be with you today, he planned for all of us to have dinner together, he had this perfect day planned for you" I snap finally looking at him "You couldn't even take one day off to be with your family, all Alessandro does all day every day is ask about you and if you're coming home early because he misses you so much"

He looks away knowing he's wrong "You shouldn't be apologizing to me" I say turning back around to finish the dishes

I hear him sigh and he walks off

He really pisses me off sometimes

I finish the dishes and put them away. I make my way upstairs, I hit the top step and hear Lorenzo and Alessandro talking

"I really wanted to hangout with you today papa" I hear Alessandro's small voice say

Lorenzo sighs "I know, I'm sorry I promise to make it up to you tomorrow" I smile "How about this, I'm gonna call Uncle Rory and tell him to come home early so that we can hangout like old times, just me and you what do you say?" I can tell Alessandro is smiling hard

"Yes!" Alessandro says and I hear Lorenzo grunt, Alessandro probably jumped on him "ok back to bed you go, I don't want to make your mama even more mad at me" he sighs and I hear covers ruffle "buonanotte Alessandro, ti voglio bene" Lorenzo says
(Translation: goodnight Alessandro, I love you)

"Goodnight papa" Alessandro says and I smile

I hear Lorenzo coming and I act like I'm just now coming up the stairs, he looks at me and gives me a small smile "goodnight Darling" he says and I nod my head at him

I walk inside my room and shut the door, I hear him sigh and close his door

I put my pajamas on and walk to Lorenzo's room, or I guess our room?  You know we never actually talked about that

I walk in and get under the covers "I thought you weren't coming in here tonight Darling" he says wrapping his arm around my waist and resting his hand on my butt

"I couldn't leave you hanging on Father's Day" I say and he chuckles "I called my father today" he says and I wrap my arms around his torso and say "how did it go?"

"It was ok, I told my parents about you" He says "they want us to come to Italy so they can properly meet the next Donna"

Fucking hell

"If you're not ready we won't go" he says rubbing my butt, I shake my head "no it's just that I haven't been out of the United States in years and I'm nervous" I sigh "is it ok if Sophia tags along?" I ask biting my lip scared he will say no

"Of course that was actually going to be my next sentence that she has to come" He says and I look at him confused "she is technically your second in command if she accepts the proposal" he says and I nod

I'll call her in the morning

"When do we leave?" I ask and he says "next week on Monday"

I nod my head

I sigh "I'm sorry I hollered at you earlier" I say and he sighs "Darling, it's fine i deserved to be hollered at" He chuckles and I chuckle also

"I have a question" I say and he rubs my back telling me to continue "what are we?"

He stops rubbing my back and he says "well... your my woman" I sit up and look at him confused "what do you mean your woman" He sighs and says "I don't understand what you want me to say"

"Lor- never mind" I say chuckling turning on my side and just taking that answer

"Wait Darling did i say something wrong?!" He asks me in a panic

I shake my head laughing "No Non tu n'as rien dit de mal" I lean over and kiss his lips
(Translation: No you said nothing wrong)

Sometimes I forget that he is literally from Italy and it's different they usually refer to their wives and girlfriends as their women

"Smettila di ridere di me" He says pouting and it just makes me laugh even more
(Translation: stop laughing at me)

He pulls me close just as my laughs die down and kisses my forehead "Goodnight Il mio amore" I smile at him "Bonsoir"
(Translation: my love)
(Translation: goodnight)

I start my job tomorrow so I won't be updating as much :( but I'll try
