Idea Prompt 99
S P A C E
Imagine this with me, everyone. There's a planet in a far, far away galaxy with technology that far surpasses ours.
On this planet, there's an alien race that's basically forced itself to extinction. Therefore, it's on a mission of kidnapping humans and essential using them for organ farming or manual labor.
These aliens inject the humans with chips and allow them to work and live in a holographic space to the point where they believe they're just in a nice hospital and recovering from some sort of tragic event.
Eventually, some of the humans' chips break and they release the true world. The world where humans are taking jobs from the higher ones in order to survive.
One of these aware humans, instead of breaking their peers outta their trances, decides to try and find a way out of the stronghold and a way home.
Upon leaving the area, they find that they can somehow this breathe the air. On top of this, they also meet the flashlight alien-robot things that alert the guards to whoever tries to escape from the 'prison'.
