Crazy Over You

Jennie's POV

"Good evening and Happy Birthday to my bestfriend, Kim Jisoo. I just want to say that I missed you and thank you for the friendship that is still strong until now. I love you Jisoo." I say confidently looking at the crowd. A bit affected when the emcee called with her surname on it. I can't find Jisoo in the crowd.

"Thank you Mrs. Jennie." said by the emcee. I only smiled and get off the stage. I went back to my seat. Kai held my hand.

"Babe I'll just go to the restroom." he said then kiss my forehead. I nodded at him.

I breathe in and out trying to calm down. I hope she's not here. I'm not ready to see her but it's too impossible. I know that I will have to see her. The world is small. I turned around and saw Jisoo waving at me. Her smile was wide and happy. She was jumping in joy. I immediately got up and went to them. As soon as I see Jisoo, I hugged her tightly. Oh god I miss her and look at Rosie who's holding Jisoo's hand. Are they got back together? I also hugged her.

"Welcome back Jennie." I looked next to Jisoo. It was Jackson.

"Bitch you need to explain to us." Irene said a little mad. Oh my god! I miss her too.

"I can't believe you're here." Nayeon said still shocked. I looked at them and smiled. I hug all of them.

"Jendeuk you're now here." Jisoo said then hug me again. I'm trying hard not to cry. Her visual become more attractive and glowed differently when she's with Rosie.

"You miss me that much huh?" I tease. She smack my arm and grinned at me.

"Of course! You have a lot of stories to tell!"

"Yes a lot Jisoo."

I was shocked when Lisa appeared in front of me. My heart jumped. The face that I will never forget. It's been years. Eight years. I could hear the sound of my heart beating in my ear with extreme nervousness.

"Hi long time no see Lisa." I greeted her as my heart exploded with mixed emotions. She's very different. Her face looks so mature. She become a little bit taller. She has more dark gazes that are very destructive and she still has that authoratative arrogant pose. I wonder if she's happy now with Nancy.

"It was lonely with you Jennie." I simply gulp and laugh awkwardly. I do not know what to say. Lonely? Maybe she's joking. She's being straightforward. She is staring at me seriously with her mad eyes. Why is she mad? All these years, she stills look so hot when mad.

"Jennie you immediately disappeared from my sight."

"Sorry I was talking to them."

It's Kai. I look at him and smiled. He's a little bit worried. Kai look at me and look in front of us. His arms wrapped around my waist.

"Kai? We haven't seen you in a long time." Irene said hug him. Kai hugged her back.

"Yeah uhm ..." he hesitately talk "... I'm with Jennie in New Zealand." I looked at Jisoo who was looking at me in shock and at Lisa who had no emotion in her eyes. BamBam is behind her. Irene looked at me raised her one eyebrow. Basically, all their eyes are full of questions and confusion.

"How are you two?" Rosie asked. Now, we are sitting at the round table. It was uncomfortable because Lisa was staring at me. I sip my wine then Kai answered it.

"We're okay actually planning for our wedding." I held Kai's hand tightly, dissapointed. Rosie gasped.

"Really?!" Nayeon said with her shocked face then looked at me.

"Jennie is your fiancé?!" Seulgi asks to Kai. Kai looked at me signaling me to answer the question. I cleared my throat.

"Uhm yeah." I simply said.

I'm shocked when Lisa stood up violently and walked straight away.

"She seems to be uhm drank. She needs air." said the woman in the red dress. What's her name again? Miyeon? I just saw her now. Jackson stand up following Lisa. What's wrong with her? I was quiet when my friends are throwing questions at Kai. The party ended, Kai and I said goodbye even though I didn't want to leave yet. Kai seems in a bad mood. He drove me to my apartment and we both went inside.

"She still loves you Jen." he stated. I remove my sandals and sit on the couch. I massaged my head and lay back. "I'm worried." he added.

"There's nothing to worry about Kai."

Kai sat beside me and gave me a side hug. He touch where the engagment ring was placed and smiled.

"Babe I'm sorry. I knew we talk about it." He was pertaining to what he said immediately that we are engage. I told him I would say it but he preceded me. But it's okay, what else do I do? I looked at Kai softly and gently caress his hand. "And for leaving early. I'm worried you know? and you seems uncomfortable."

"I'm not uncomfortable because I actually miss them. Maybe it's you. You look tense."

"Because she's there." I ignore what he said. I don't wanna to talk about her right now. All I wanted is to sleep and lay my back on the fluffy bed.

"Kai please ... I'm tired. I wanna rest." I said. He gave me a warm embrace.

"Are you mad?"

"Nope."

"Sure?"

"Yes babe." I said, smiling to erase his worried face.

"I'll be leaving babe. See you tomorrow. I love you." Kai said and stood up with me. I led him to the door. Even if we are engage, he never sleeps beside me because he wants to sleep next to me when we're married.

"I love you too." I replied. He kiss my forehead and headed to the elevator.

I closed the door. I need a cold shower and that's what I did. I wore my sleeping pajamas and lay down. I still have jetlag today even though we arrived yesterday. I really planned to go home so that our wedding could be taken care of because Kai wanted us to get married here. My thoughts were barged in with a person.

Lisa.

I just ignored what the emcee said earlier along with her surname. Hearing that, Dad is right the surname Manoban suits me. But not anymore. When I saw her, all my memories of her came back. I was stunned, shocked, and speechless and a feeling that I can't explain. Physically speaking, she changed a lot. I shouldn't be thinking her right now. It makes my mind explode. I forced myself to sleep. I closed my eyes and woke up again when my phone beep.

I replied to them. I stood up and went to the study table and opened my laptop. After leaving, going back to New Zealand, Dad temporarily handled the company here in Korea. I also tell my parents what happened and they were surprised. They didn't accept it and they can't do anything because it was my decision to leave, to broke up with her. I activate all my accounts and I was bombarded with Lisa's tons messages and emails.

Hon, come back home.

I'll fix everything please come back to me.

I miss you hon, when are you coming back?

"What now Lisa? what now?" I whispered.
