Locked Emotions

Somehow in the screams and painful sounds coming from around the two of them, all they heard was silence. As if they had been unconscious and all feeling had been lost. All of their senses had become numb. Tears rose to Marinette's eyes, but her face was still. Adrien wanted to wipe her tear that had slid down her cheek,  but he couldn't move. He wasn't blinking, breathing, or moving an inch. 

Marinette let out a deep breath, still holding eye contact with Adrien.  Neither of them where talking, nor blinking. Marinette dropped her phone, which still had Master Fu on speaker. 

Marinette blinked to let the tears fall out of her blurry eyes, just to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Tikki put her little hands on Marinette's shoulder.

"This is just perfect." Marinette mumbled under her breath. She looked down for a second, then looked back up at Adrien in desperation. "I-i'm sorry-" Her voice broke. 

"I-" Adrien said, but nothing followed. He grabbed her and pulled close her in for a hug. He held her tightly trying to comprehend the fact that he had been in love with his best friend, the girl he thought of as a sister at times. 

Marinette hugged him for a second, then pushed him away when she remembered their last conversation. He looked at her confused with a lump in his throat. "H-how can you jus-st be fine now knowing I-m Ladybug?" She struggling to say. "You were so hurt today I-" She continued. 

"You think I'm okay? I'm still trying to understand all of this!" His voice broke, feeling his heart sink deep into his stomach. 

Marienette dropped on the side of the cold brick wall. Then smiled. "Why are we always fighting." She chuckled, pulling her hair out of her face. 

"What happened to us." Adrien dropped on the wall opposite her. 

"This is all just one big misunderstanding, just like it's been since you guys started bickering at each other." Plagg said from beside the two teens. "As sad and as sappy as this little 'moment' is that you guys are having, we need to just cut to the chase." Plagg continued, clearing his throat. 

"Plagg don't-" Adrien said, being cut off by Plagg clearing his throat even louder. "Marinette, you've been drooling over Adrien since you met him, correct?" Plagg asked Marinette.

"What?" Adrien said, widening his eyes at Marinette. "Oh now your one to talk, maybe you haven't been drooling over Marinette but you sure as hell have been crushing on her-" Plagg continued, trying to make it so that no one could interrupt him.

"Plagg, shut up. WHAT?" Marinette covered Plagg's face with her hand and looked at the very red Adrien in front of her. She wiped her tears and stood away from the wall. Adrien couldn't hold in a smirk. "Is that why you cried like a baby when I kissed Luka?" Marinette chuckled. 

"No I-" Adrien was cut off. "mhm yes mhm" Plagg said from underneath Marinette's hand. "Oh for gods sake Marinette just tape his big mouth." Adrien chuckled.

"Well this was not in the list of ways I thought this reveal would go-" Fu said from the floor, which everyone had forgotten about. Marinette picked up the phone from off the floor. "Sorry, so uh- what do we do now?" She said to Fu, not so subtly blushing at Adrien, not purposely of course.

Master Fu explained the plan. The teens transformed back and ran back over to Silverthorn. When they got there, all of the other hero's had been pinned down by the blasted civilians. As Silverthorn turned around Ladybug pulled Chat Noir behind a dumpster, so she wouldn't see them. Ladybug pulled her yo-yo out and called Rina.
