Exztical looked up at the rift he had opened to the Hive homesystem. He had finally done what he was destined to do, invade Earth and Humanity, and become a legend among his people. But most of all, prove himself to the Witch Queen.
Mazora and Peter approached the Hive God once more.
"It's beautiful isn't it?" He asked them without turning his gaze from the rift.
"Someone should take a picture." Peter summoned his maul and swung it around. Mazora charged up Void around his hands.
"This is your last chance to surrender, Exztical." Mazora warned.
"Surrender? Krill do not surrender!" Exztical shot out a blade of Hive Magic, skimming Peter on his visor. Mazora shot out another Void chain and wrapped it around Exztical's neck, then pulled, causing him to fall over. Peter leaped into the air and threw his Maul down, but Exztical quickly grabbed Peter by the neck and threw him at Mazora.
Mazora used a reflective shield to block the human bullet that was Peter. Mazora then shot multiple bullet projectiles at Exztical, which he was unable to block. Mazora kept pushing and firing until he got close to the Hive God. Mazora wielded a Void Claymore and cut into Exztical's shoulder, slicing right through into his heart.
Exztical's flying ability weakened, and he fell down to his brittle knees.
"Killing me has done nothing, my Queen will avenge us all..." He fell over, dead, and the rift closed, sucking all who came out back in. Mazora sat down next to Peter on a rock to take a breather.
"Getting old?" Peter asked him.
"I'm a robot, you should back asking yourself that."
Peter made a face.
A Vanguard ship landed next to them on the summit of the mountain, and out came Zavala.
"Good work gentlemen." Zavala shook both of their hands.
"Always a pleasure." Peter replied.
"It's puts a smile on my face to see you two working again."
"Where's Cobra?" Mazora asked.
"He's back at the City, said he found a Girl inside one of the Jetsams."
"Inside a Jetsam?" Peter was legitimately surprised.
"What happened to her in there?"
"All we know is she was being "experimented" on. Real bad business."
"Indeed." Mazora replied.
"That's my thing to say, yknow."
They all got back into the ship and flew to the City.
