All of the remaining Awoken and The Guardians geared up to fight the Black. The Black had stopped pouring out of the Rift, but were beginning to surround the City. Mara and some Corsairs approached Cobra, a prideful look on her face. Cobra feared the worst.
"What's the plan, Hunter?" She asked him.
Cobra took a deep breath as everyone crowded around him, there weapons loaded.
"Here's the plan:"
"Every Corsair and Warrior we can afford is going to fight the Black, they die easily, but pack a punch. As long as we take them by surprise, it shouldn't be too hard. The Guardians and I are going to head up to the Rift with Mazora and excape, closing it in the process." C
Myra observed the crowd. Everyone seemed pretty pumped from Cobra's idea.
The Corsairs divided into teams, all led by Uldren. Each team seperated into different spots in the mists, which were good ambush spots. Meanwhile, Cobra and Myra watched over Mazora as Gate and Mitchell ran up to the highest mountain peak near the Rift. As they climbed up, the storms and winds caused by the Rift increased.
"Damn this storm!!" Gate complained.
"You get used to it after awhile."
Once they made it to the top, Mitchell unsheathed Linesplitter and ran towards the Rift to shrink it so that The Black couldn't come back. As he lined up the sword, Savathun appeared infront of him and backhanded him across the mountain peak. Mitchell fell down near Gate, the sword falling nearly off the edge.
"You should have stayed with me!" Savathun yelled at Gate.
"I never was." Gate summoned his Golden Gun and began firing shots at her. Savathun deflected most of the shots with her Hive Magic, but some of them managed to land in her chest and shoulder.
Gate kept firing and moving offensively towards her, but once he got to her, Savathun tripped him and grabbed him by the head, holding him over the edge of the mountain.
"I knew you were weak." She told him.
"Let him go."
Savathun turned around to see Mazora, holding his Sword of Light.
The Witch Queen threw Gate at Mazora, but Mazora ducked, Gate landing near Mitchell.
"You know I have you cornered." Mazora told her.
"It will mean nothing when I have your head."
"Come and get it."
Savathun summoned her own Hive Sword and flew towards Mazora. Mazora shot out a Beam of Light straight into her face, blinding her. He then thrust his sword into her chest. Savathun screamed at him and retreated towards the Rift, her chest wide open. (....).
Mazora threw his Void Chain at her, the chain wrapping around her neck, pulling her back. As Savathun flew towards him, she summoned her Sword and jammed it into his gut. Mazora froze and looked down as Hive Magic invaded his system.
Myra shot a Tether straight into Savathun's top eye. Savathun yelled, giving Mazora the opportunity to grab her by the head, raising his Sword to decapitate her. Savathun released a shockwave of Hive Magic, blowing everyone back, she then entered the Rift, closing it behind her.
