Shen Wei, a cute 16 years old boy who'd just turned 17 as he blows the candle and made a wish as soon as the clock strikes at midnight.

"What did you ask for Ge? Oh I know! Someone always hope he would find love at boarding school." Yezun teased and Shen Wei could only blush to it because that was what he had exactly wished for.

"And what did you wish for Didi?"Shen Wei asked in return. Yezun thought for a second. "My wish is... a secret! Just know it's not to find love like you Gege." Yezun continued to tease his brother, which makes Wei huffed.

"Didi let's go shopping in the morning to buy each other gifts." said Shen Wei as it has always been their custom to do so every year with his twin.

Every year both twins would get special permission to leave school to celebrate their birthday back at home. Reason being their parents are co-owner of the boarding school, so it was easy for them to take leaves.

"Okay, then we should sleep now before mom and dad hears that we're not sleeping yet." as they giggles and went to bed looking forward to the bright morning.

"I wish for Gege safety." Yezun said inwardly before he closes his eye to sleep.

The next day, both twins went to get their blessings from their parents before they head out to the mall.

"Wei, are you wearing it?" his mom asked to be sure.

"Yes mom!" Wei replied, showing it to her so she could be at ease.

"You both be careful! Ah Zun, look after your brother okay!" his mom commanded and gave them kisses before they leave.

Arriving at the mall, they both entered many shops but found nothing they liked for each other. So after an hour of aimlessly shopping around, both decided to go into an optical shop as both agreed they wanted a new sunglasses.

Yezun looked around and found a style he liked to get. "Here Gege, try this one on. It suits you..and me!" said Yezun putting the glasses on Wei and gave him a mirror to look at.

Wei looked in the mirror and was satisfy with the style and design also. So they bought two pairs exactly the same style but in different shades.

They happily shopped around the mall for a bit more, wearing their new sunglasses and ate many different snacks because it was only available at their hometown. Once they go back to school, they will be restricted to go out for awhile.

"Gege! My stomach hurts. I need to go washroom." Yezun holds his stomach and drags Wei along with him. "Told you not too eat so much at once!" Shen Wei scolded.

Shen Wei was done using the washroom so he wanted to wait for Yezun outside. "Didi! I will be waiting outside." Shen Wei called out to his brother.

"Oo..kay! Don't go tooo far!" Yezun tried to squeeze out his words, still with pain in his stomach.

"I will, don't worry!" Shen Wei then walks out the door.

Just like every other day, Zhao Yunlan a 25 years old rookie cop whom is thriving for promotions was chasing after criminals. Always being reckless as he is in catching criminals, so it always landed him in hospital for minor treatment.

As he was discharged from the hospital heading to his car with his best friend/work partner Da Qing, they could hear emergency ambulance siren coming in and hurriedly rolling out a severely injured patient inside.

"Wondered what happened! It looks serious, he got blood all over his head. Poor guy doesn't seems like he will be able to make it in that condition." said Da Qing heading to the driver seat.

"That's the course of life and death my friend!" Yunlan took the opportunity and snatches the key from the distracted Da Qing

"Let me drive! I don't want our chief to scold me again for your recklessness!" As Da Qing tried snatching the key back, but was too late because Yunlan had already sat at the driver seat.

"I can be more reckless than this as long as I can catch those criminals. I want to prove to everyone that I, Zhao Yunlan depends on my own ability. You know that!"

Ever since Zhao Yunlan was little and up until his police training academy. Everyone approaches him with intentions. But Yunlan wants to be recognized as Zhao Yunlan whom graduated the police academy honorably with his own ability. And not being the son of whomever who passes with shortcuts. Da Qing was the only friend that was true to him since they knew each other since primary years.

The next day as predicted by Da Qing, they really got an earful from their chief. Da Qing was asked to leave first because his chief needed to discuss something with Yunlan privately.

"Yunlan I want you to take this robbery case. There has been too many robbery happening lately in the area." said the Chief and father, Zhao XinCi.

"But Chief! Can you assign someone else? This case is just small potato, I won't be able to land any promotions next year." Yunlan said in disagreement to his father orders.

"Yunlan, no case is small, even it's robbery. Do you know how many people get killed or injured because of this. Do you want innocence lives to be lost because of this small potato case?" his father lectured him.

In the end Yunlan had no choice but to agree to take the case.

"What is it Yunlan, why look so unhappy?" Da Qing asked seeing how Yunlan furrowed his brow.

"We are in charge of a new robbery case in town now." Yunlan speaks while passing Da Qing some files. "Run a background check and find as much information about them as you can. We need to find their whereabouts, so we could end this and get on with bigger cases!' Yunlan ordered.

"That's Ding Dun! Hurry go catch him!" Yunlan signaled to his partner Da Qing, as they part ways to catch him.

As they were chasing Ding Dun to a dead end, only to be surprised as the guy doesn't look anywhere close to sane. He was crouching down, covering his head and start yelling like a mad man.

Yunlan ran quickly and tried to grab hold of Ding Dun. "No..Leave me!" Ding Dun screamed insanely as Da Qing took out his handcuff while Yunlan still gripping him tightly.

"Get in!" as Yunlan roughly throws the retaliating Ding Dun inside the police car.

They brought him in for interrogation trying to find out where the big boss name Zhu Jiu is. But Ding Dun just crept down in the corner of the room, covering his head and mumbling to himself like he had seen a ghost.

"What should we do? It's been hours already, he's still like this." Da Qing asked Yunlan as he tried to calm down the frightened Ding Dun.

"I think we cannot get any information out of him today!" Yunlan said in frustration and left the station to go home.

As Yunlan entered his car, he noticed a sunglasses that was dropped inside. "Maybe it's Da Qing? He got good taste, such a luxury brand!" He puts it in his jacket pocket and drove off.
