My Ghost Boy

Shen Wei could feel his soul being sucked out from his body, as he kept falling deep into what he described as a bottomless pit of pure darkness. The fall felt somewhat like eternity until he reached the bottom of it all. It was dark and he was scared. He felt like the first time when he became ghost boy, there was not even a dim of light to be found.

"Help me! Yunlan! Where are you?" Shen Wei cried softly, hugging his knees tightly in pitch darkness. Instantaneously, as if sensing Shen Wei's distress, the necklace started to glow and casting bright light that illuminated the whole room.

Shen Wei stood up and rubbed his eyes, now adjusting to the brightness. His eyes widened upon seeing so many picture frames of himself floating up in the room. "What is this place?" Shen Wei whispered to himself and started to wander around the place.

As he walked further, the necklace started to flash and glow even brighter, as if it's giving him a signal and directing him somewhere. Shen Wei somehow had a strong hunch that Yunlan is nearby, because his necklace is closely connected to the cursed pearl.

"Ah Lan! Are you here? Ah Lan!" Shen Wei kept calling out to Yunlan.

Yunlan who was still paralyzed in one spot, suddenly thought he heard Shen Wei's voice calling out for him.

"Xiao Wei?!" Yunlan yelled in response as he tried hard to move his body. "Let me go! Arghh!"

The dark shadow who were still leaning on Yunlan, started to smirk upon hearing Shen Wei's voice. "Finally that wretch is here!" As it laughed sinisterly and looked at Yunlan. "Soon we will be together my Prince!" The dark shadow stood up and disappeared like smoke.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Shen Wei is being put on another bed next to Yunlan. The doctor had run a full body check on him and found nothing out of ordinary, it was as if he had fallen asleep.

"This is not normal!" Yezun exclaimed to his parents, and suddenly rushed out the hospital. He drove out with Chu and Guo to the lake park in search for the Shaman named Wang, according to what Shen Wei had told him.

Wang who were actually meditating in a secluded place began to sense strange dark energy rising. She took out her globe and used her power to look inside, searching for the causes.

Shen Wei who kept on walking aimlessly suddenly shivers, and felt chills down his spine as if someone is watching him from behind. He immediately turned around to check, "Who's there?!" His eyes searching left and right, but didn't see anything. He lets out a sigh of relief and turned his head back.

But then...

"AHHHHHH!!" Shen Wei screamed loudly, coming face to face with a faceless dark shadow as he instantly moved backward and started scampering away. "MOMMY! DADDY! HELP ME!!!"

"You think you can run from me. I will make you pay for what you have done to me!" The dark shadow squealed in delight seeing the fear of it's enemy and start chasing after Shen Wei playfully.

Shen Wei was confused of where to go as he scurry here and there, looking for a place to hide. The dark shadow also swiftly appeared and disappeared in every direction that Shen Wei ran to.

"Play time is over!!!" The dark shadow abruptly appeared right in front of Shen Wei causing him to bump into it and fell back. "Now surrender your body to me!" It demanded from Shen Wei.

"What? Why? Who are you?" Shen Wei questioned and started moving backward.

"I used to be a beautiful maiden of the sea. But because of you! You stole everything from me, even my Prince Yunlan!" And swiftly glide over and caught Shen Wei by the neck with one hand, lifting him off ground.

"Let...me...go..." Shen Wei choked and tried to struggle from it's grip on his neck. The dark shadow started running it's finger along Shen Wei's face. "With this face of yours that you used to seduce Prince Yunlan. I wonder if he will love you when your face is destroyed?!" Still running it's long nails along Shen Wei's flawless skin teasingly.

Yunlan kept screaming to be released and tried with all his strength to move, but it was no use. He was dead worried about Shen Wei being harmed by the dark shadow, he could sense that the dark shadow really hated Shen Wei. And then, a familiar voice he heard calling out to him.

"Yunlan! There's no use to struggle uselessly, you're just wasting your energy!" The voice advised.

"Shaman Wang is that you?" Yunlan asked with hopes.

"Yes! Now do what I say! Try to focus your inner energy to the center of your body where the cursed pearl is located. When you feel that the energy has been gathered around the pearl, then with all your strength you need to release the energy outward. Only then can you be free from your paralysis. You got it?" Wang communicated with Yunlan through the power of the globe.

Without hesitation, Yunlan followed Wang's directions and closed his eyes to focus in gathering his energy.

The dark shadow started to cackle loudly seeing the fear in Shen Wei's eyes and how weak he had became. Not like when he was the powerful Cursed Star of Destruction, the one that destroyed the dark shadow lives completely.

"Let..me...go!" Shen Wei continued to struggle loose with fright.

"Don't worry! I won't destroy this face, because soon I will take over your entire body so that I can live with Prince Yunlan using this body of yours." Revealing it's intentions to Shen Wei.

Shen Wei widened his eyes upon hearing what the dark shadow wanted to do with his body, so he struggled even harder. "Yunlan..is mine..not yours! He..he..will nev..er..love you!" Shen Wei started kicking mid-air.

The dark shadow got even more furious by what Shen Wei had said and clutched tighter on his neck. Shen Wei was starting to lose his breath as his eyes rolled upward and his face started to change colour.

Sensing Shen Wei's being in danger, the amber necklace suddenly released vigorous power that forced the dark shadow to abruptly pushed Shen Wei away. Shen Wei, being pushed and thrown to the ground forcefully started to spat out blood from his mouth, which slide down his neck and onto the necklace.

Another surge of energy again started running within Shen Wei's soul. But this time, Shen Wei could feel that it was a different type of energy, something more destructive that started over taking him. He wasn't able to control the power and started to shriek loudly.

The dark shadow was also pushed back by force by the amber necklace and was struggling on the ground, as it witnessed the transformation in Shen Wei's energy. It was familiar yet different.

Shen Wei now with his new power, got up on his feet and slowly walked towards the dark shadow. His eyes darkened and emitting darker aura. "It's been a long time Ni Chang." Shen Wei gave a slight smirk.

The dark shadow now widened it's eyes in fear. "You! You're back..but how?"
