My breathing became heavier and I didn't have enough strength to pull enough air into my lungs. What if-
There was a sudden knock at the door. I got up from my bed and walked over to the door, opening it shortly after.
Standing in front of the door was Ashely. What was she doing here?
"I wanted to ask you what your fucking problem is?" she said, hands on her hips and with a serious expression.
"What my fucking problem is? What's yours?" I fired back, anger slowly rising inside me again. She pushed past me deeper into the room and I slammed the door behind her.
"Did you fuck a stripper?" she then asked straight out as she turned to me.
I remained rooted to the spot in front of the door. "What makes you think that?" I asked, confused.
She gave me a warning look. "Don't sell yourself for dumber than you are. You know exactly what I mean."
"Oh, so it's because we were at Malibu yesterday? Is that why you're in such a weird mood?" it then hit me and Ashely sparkled angrily at me.
"Me and being weird?" she hissed angrily, taking a dangerous step in my direction. "Let me tell you something asshole, I'm not weird!"
"Then how do you explain your behavior?" I asked tensely now.
The tension between us always managed to grow and become more suffocating, the last few days avoiding it and her was the most difficult thing ever.
"I thought we agreed that we wanted each other and what do you do? You go to the nearest strip club and do God knows what with the next bitch you see!" she hissed cursing.
What?
I started laughing mockingly, it was almost mechanical because her reaction was really ridiculous. I mean I didn't do anything.
Then I also took a step towards her whereupon she had to straddle her neck to meet my eyes further.
Eye contact is something very intense with us, it always has been. And it made my whole skin tingle, my breath stop and my brain suspend every time.
"I don't see what's so fucking funny about it!" she gritted out between her clenched teeth.
"No, you're right. It's not funny at all." I said more seriously again. "Because you know what?"
"What?" she asked impatient, almost screaming.
"You're my only bitch." I said in a serious and rough voice as I pulled her closer to me by her waist so that our upper bodies were touching. I just had to touch her.
I couldn't help smirking, her astonished look was just priceless.
Ashely stared at me wordlessly, I had taken away the ability of the most quick-witted person I know to form words properly.
It took her a moment to regain her composure.
"Say that again." she then demanded with a deep look into my eyes. Her voice had become so soft that it sent a shiver down my spine.
