"Up next: an update on yesterday's incident at the UA rescue training center where hero course students were attacked by a gang of villains. According to new police officials, the criminal forces called themselves "The League of Villains." Investigators have reportedly uncovered that this group has been plotting to kill UA's teacher and popular hero All Might since the spring of this year. Police arrested 72 villains at the scene, but the League's leader escaped. His whereabouts are unknown."
The huge platform screen had projected the news of the incident, a pair of familiar light blue eyes listening closely as he narrowed his eyes at the reporter. "No reports of any injured heroes or students, huh? They're covering shit up. I still don't know why you joined UA, Kid. It's pointless."
Meanwhile, in the hospital...
"Well, we should be glad they didn't include you in the news."
"I guess."
...the two brothers watched this news from Maya's hospital room. Aizawa had been discharged early from his demands. He didn't want to stay in that room forever. He had responsibilities to fulfill. Kusuo and Izuku sat by the girl's bedside as soon as they heard visitation was allowed. Aizawa was going to go, but his coworkers/friends advised him to rest instead. That and only two visitors were allowed.
Izuku and Kusuo best the man to it, which Aizawa said he'd visit later in the day. He didn't get a chance to see her state. He only heard it.
Kusuo has tried his best in healing, but those injuries were too major for him to heal completely. He had conditions even as a psychic. For the first time, he was pissed that these conditions held him back.
"Hey, Kusuo,"
"Yeah?"
"When do you think she'll wake up."
"Don't know. I tried..." Kusuo looked down, averting his eyes from Izuku, "...I really did."
"I'm sure she'd appreciate it! Don't tire yourself out too much, okay?"
Kusuo hummed and looked at the bandages and cast that she had. It angered him more. Izuku looked down and tugged on the psychic's sleeve, "Did you mean what you said?"
"...what I said?"
"Do you...really want to resign? Am I the only reason you can to UA?"
