Error's POV
I couldn't help but smile while talking with Martina. I enjoyed being with her however, I didn't feel any romantic connection. It almost felt like she was just a good friend.
The surrounding sound was filled with voices of the other students. Ink was... somewhere in the room.
'Where is he? I should check on him.'
I excused myself to look for my best friend. Walking away, I went to where I last remembered Ink being.
(Time Skip)
I spent about twenty minutes searching for Ink and I was beginning to panic. No one knew where he was which didn't make the situation better. I wasn't able to find him outside either.
'Where the hell is he?'
One of the students noticed my panic, causing them to walk up to me.
Student: Are you looking for someone?
Me: Yeah. Have you seen a short white skeleton with a brown scarf? Has an ink stain on his cheek.
Student: Yeah. I saw him walking down the street.
He said as he pointed down a certain direction. It was the same direction has the male dormitory.
'Ink must have gone home.'
Me: Thank you.
I said before running off. My feet carried me all the way home. The chilly wind pushed against my face and people watched me as I quickly ran past them.
I had always been a fast runner because of my life in Argentina. My mom would chase me when I talked back to her... so I had to learn how to run fast.
Eventually, I arrived at my home. I almost busted down the door of mine and Ink's dorm.
My breath stopped when I saw that he wasn't there. I started thinking of places that he could be. The only places that he goes without me is the café.
'The coffee place is closed. I don't know where he could be.'
I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed Ink's number. My soul stopped when I heard his ringer from inside the dorm. A few Spanish swear words escaped my mouth.
Me: He didn't take his phone with him.
There's was only one thing left that I could think of.
Me: I need to call the police.

Ink's POV
I sat on the outside of the alcohol store with Taryn next to me. A wine bottle was in my hand with me occasionally taking sips from it. I was never a drinker but right now... I needed it.
I tightened my brown scarf to protect myself from the chilly air. The concrete was cold which wasn't comfortable. However I had to because I wasn't going to drink and drive.
Taryn stared at the sky, deep in thought. His long tail was subtly moving around. With every flick, his ears would move as well.
Taryn: So you've been in love with your best friend for how long?
Me: "For as long as I can remember."
Taryn: And he's straight?
I nodded while putting the bottle to my lips.
Taryn: That's rough.
I was fixing to start signing again when I heard the sound of sirens. Taryn's ears jolted towards the noise and his pupils grew in size. I sat up, noticing that the sirens were getting closer.
Police cars pulled up in front of the store before several policemen got out. We stood up, wondering what was happening. Then I recognized one of them.
'Error.'
He ran up and hugged me tightly. I felt rainbow blush begin to cover my cheeks. I felt Error's body shake against mine and the side of my neck was wet. Error was crying.
Error: I was s-so s-scared. P-Please don't d-do that again, Ink.
Error's voice was beginning to glitch. It always happened when he was scared, anxious, or angry.
My rainbow blush spread further across my cheeks and I didn't know what to do. After a minute, my hands eventually slid up Error's back to return the hug. I buried my face into his shoulder and took in his intoxicating scent.
We pulled away, allowing me to look at Error. He had a sad expression. His brows were furrowed and his addicting smile was gone. That was something that I rarely see on Error's attractive face.
'Please don't look at me like that. That face would make me do anything for you.'
Error sniffed and then turned towards the policemen.
Error: Thank you for finding Ink.
They nodded as they left in their cars.
Error faced me again.
Error: Let's go home, Ink.
I nodded which made Error smile and...
Pull me into a hug
