Jeremy's eyes widened as he shakily held the bat, and years were streaming down his face.

"Vincent?!" He exclaimed, backing up. I rushed to him, and put my hand in his shoulder.

"You know this guy?" I asked. He nodded.

"H-he owned m-my building..!" He said, turning his head, but not taking his eyes off out this... Thing. I couldn't call him human, his skin was purple for fucks sakes! Unless he dyed it.. (A/N: you CAN actually dye your skin, I'm not lying. Look it up.)

"Well, well, well.. Hello Jerebear. And you must be Mike~" he said, twirling something around his fingers.

"H-how do you know his n-name?!" Jeremy yelled. Vince, purple fuck, I don't know what to call him, laughed.

"I have my ways. Oh, and I have some people, I think you would know." He said, motioning to the hallway. Two people came out. One was male, and I didn't know them. He was holding a beer bottle in his hand. The other was... Doll?!?

"Hello Mikey~" said Doll. She smiled the smile I used to love about her. The man grinned, and walked over to Jere. He roughly grabbed Jeres neck, and he yelped.

"Y-you w(hic)rothless piece o-of shit!!! I-it's your (hic) fault your (hic) mom left!" He yelled at Jere.

"Dad! S-stop!!" Jere yelled. I looked at Vince. He smiled.

"What are you gonna do~?" He almost sang. I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my hand.

Suddenly, I heard a yelp. I looked over, to see Jeremy had gotten away from his 'dad', and now he was beating the shit out of him with the bat!!!! His dad lay on the ground, while Jeremy screamed at him.

"HOW DOES THIS FEEL, DAD?! YOU LIKE THIS, HUH? WELL, I DIDNT!" Jere screamed.

Vince's eyes widened, as Jeremy stopped. He was breathing heavily as he looked up at Vince and Doll.

"Your next..." He hissed, walking over, and swinging the bat at Doll. She cried out in pain, and she called for my help. Hah, fuck no.

When he was done, he tried to swing at Vince, but he couldn't. Not like he missed, like the bat went through him!!

Vince shoved Jeremy away, and grabbed the collars of Jeres dad and Dolls shirts, dragging them away.

"What the hell just...." I trailed off.

"I-I don't know..."Jeremy said. He looked at his left arm, and sighed. Tears fell down his face, as the clock struck 6.

"Come on, Jere. Let's go home." I say, as I walked up to him and gave him a hug.

I grabbed my bag, and we left for my house.

"I-I don't w-wanna g-go back.." Jere sobbed. I sighed.

"Just one more night and we get paid. We can quit and get a new job then, okay babe?" I say. "We just need some money to help us get by."

"O-okay..." He sobs, and I kiss his forehead. He smiles. I love when my baby smiles.
