CASSIE HARPER has been through the ringer over the past two years, to say the least. Between losing both her mother and pseudo father, bombings, being shot, dying, and coming back to life more times than she cared to admit, Cassie thought that the hard times were finally over, and she would now be able to move on with her life. Her heart had slowly been mended, and with the help of her boyfriend and found family, she finally felt as though things were looking up. Alas, there's no such thing as moving on in a place like Seattle Grace Hospital. After hearing the news of one of her best friends being hit by a bus in an act of heroism, Cassie felt as though she was suddenly right back where she began, heartsick from the grief that inevitably came with love.
Little did she know, the onslaught of near death experiences at Seattle Grace were far from over. Cassie would soon find herself coding once again; only this time, they may not be able to bring her back.
