As soon as Genma exited the grounds and yelled begin, the trembling battle between Kankuro and Misa began. It started off heated and literally gave shivers to the audience surprising them about Misa's potential. Kankuro had thought that Misa would be distracted a bit the second Genma left the ground and yelled began, thus he used that opportunity to take out his doll and threw it at Misa, the doll letting a small blade come out of her hand. Kankuro's puppet was attached to his fingers by some Chakra strings he had managed to pull out amazingly. It was a hard method but it seemed like he was quite used to it. If it was a month before, Misa wouldn't have noticed the little blade popping out of the doll's hand but Jiraiya had trained her perfectly and high-lightened her senses knowing that her senses were stronger than an average person's. She swiftly raised a tall ice barrier and dodged the puppet moving to the side stunning the crowd at how strong the two competitors were. Kankuro hadn't expected Misa would have been able to deflect his attack but he had a hunch that it was just a coincidence. On the other hand, Misa was a bit worried. She saw that there was poison on the blade, it had actually melted through the ice nearly piercing right through it. Of course, the girl hadn't expected the Chuunin exam to be easy. She had fully expected it. All she had to do was exceed her limits and get stronger throughout this battle. The puppet continuously began attacking Misa with blades popping out while the girl kept on dodging the puppet's antics unsure of how to beat it.

"You are not getting away Uzumaki Misa," Kankuro screamed a bit frustrated that his puppet was unable to hit Misa with its blades. What the boy didn't know was Misa's taijutsu was perfect even though she hadn't undergone direct training under some teacher.

Every place where the blades were pierced there was a purple color patch present obviously presenting that each and every blade was coated with poison. Kankuro finally pushed an enormous thick blade out of his doll and began attacking the girl with it. At first, the blade at managed to pierce right through her tall barriers of ice leaving her stunned and in a dilemma. But Misa had managed to break through it already. She had realized that the ice she created needed to be stronger and thicker than usual, which meant a lot of Chakra would needed but then she had Chakra of a beast inside of her. The girl tactfully managed to use it and control it which actually put Kankuro in a bad position. He couldn't believe how different Misa turned out to be during the past month. She was a lot stronger.
