It was strange to walk without Mason's fear-filled presence around, but D enjoyed it. She felt free. She felt powerful. She enjoyed the feeling. It made her smile, imagining that for the time being, she had no limits.

The staff was probably scared of her, saying how she was most likely marked as Keter. She wanted to laugh. Finally, people saw her for what she really was. She was not just a kid. She was not merely "weird".

She was a monster. Deranged! Mad! Insane! She was the thing that made people afraid of the dark. And she loved it. She loved the rush of adrenaline as her victims screamed. She didn't know what she wanted to do first.

Should she try to find another SCP?  Maybe find Archer? That sounded fun. Plus, if she caught him off guard she might be able to kill him. That would make things a lot easier. But then again, he had been quite entertaining.

Decisions, decisions. They were quite annoying. She ran a thumb across the blade of her precious weapon, thinking. She sighed, looking around. There had to be something she could do. She kept an eye out for doors, reading any signs that hung on the walls.

Her eyes stopped on a certain door, one with a small sign next to it. She grinned and went over, reading it. SCP-999 Object Class: Safe. She glanced at the image, studying it. The creature looked like jelly. Orange jelly with little nub arms and a strange smile.

Under the sign was a button, which D pressed immediately. To her surprise, the door slid open, revealing an empty room. She stepped in and looked around, but she didn't see anything. She heard the door hiss shut behind her and glanced back.

"Oolr!" She flinched slightly and looked down, tilting her head curiously as she saw what had to be 999, hugging her ankle. It was a lot smaller than she had thought it would be, and she chuckled.

"Hey tiny," she knelt down and gently pat the blob's head, her hand slightly sticking to it. The creature let out a trill, nuzzling her the best it could. She gently pushed it away and sat down, crossing her legs and patting her lap.

"Cm'ere, little guy." She put her hand out as one would with a dog, and 999 came up to it, gently tapping her palm with a nubby arm. She lowered her hand to the floor and watched as 999 clambered up, its derpy smile never faltering.

This feeling again... strange. She sighed. This feeling was weird. She felt something ticklish rise up in her chest and play at her tongue. Her lips were pulled up into a smile, but not one she was used to. This smile was uncontrollable. And it wasn't to frighten one or unsettle another. It was simply there.

She thought back to the last time she felt like this. She assumed it would be from just a bit ago when she frightened the staff in the hallway. But that wasn't it. If she really thought about it, the last time she had this feeling was when she was introduced to the 131.

Had she ever felt like this before then? Her smile turned to a frown as she remembered. At school. That was one of the only times she felt this way. So long ago. It felt like years, decades even. Suddenly a name came to her tongue.

"Tay..."

999 trilled and snapped her from her trance. She waved the thoughts away, taking a couple of steadying breaths. She shouldn't be dwelling on Tay. Not anymore. She was long gone. D cleared her throat.

"I have to go, small one. I'll try to see you later okay?" 999 seemed to nod and jumped (the best it could) off of her hand. She stood up and rubbed her face, brushing her hair back and going to the door, pressing an identical button like the one outside of the room.

The door slid open and she stepped out, making sure the door closed and sealed 999 in its containment. She glanced around and began to walk down the hallway again, clicking her tongue. Another feeling was invading her chest.

This was dark and heavy, wrapping around her lungs and whispering memories into her ear. She growled quietly. This again. She groaned and grabbed her knife. She needed to get her anger out. She began to walk faster, feeling her breath escape from her throat.

She couldn't do this. Not now. Not again. She wasn't supposed to be feeling like this.

She began to run. "Dammit..." She groaned, feeling her tear ducts ache and throb. No. Why must this happen? Why must she be alone when her brain was fighting against her?

"I'm not sure bringing a D-Class to it is a good idea. We won't learn anything new if it just kills them." D stopped, right as she was about to turn a corner. A familiar voice then piped into the conversation.

"Whatever. It doesn't seem completely sure of where it is, so I wanted to start with something of minimal consequence." It was, of course, Archer. She took a quick breath and turned the corner, tilting her head slightly and smiling once again as a look of shock grew on both of the men's faces.

She did a small bow. "My ears were burning! How nice to see you again, Sherlock." Archer's face went slightly red and the other person, a man that seemed around 30, cast a glance between the two. Archer let out a hissing breath.

"Backup. Now." The man nodded and backed away, pulling out a radio and urgently murmuring into it. D couldn't help but chuckle. Now, this was the perfect distraction. She pulled out her knife from her pocket and winked.

Archer wasn't amused. "How did you break from containment?" D shook her head, laughing. "That doesn't matter. But I thought a detective like yourself would be able to figure it out, Holmes." Archer balled a fist.

"You're lucky that I don't have my gun on me." D rolled her eyes. "What are you going to do? Kill me? That didn't work when 106 tried, I don't think a bullet will do it either." As she spoke she walked up to him, stopping a good foot away. He could easily grab her now, and she knew it.

Archer narrowed his eyes. "What do you want?" D laughed again. "Simply to entertain myself." Archer sighed, and D reached up to gently tap the tip of his nose with a finger. That seemed to push him past whatever limit he had, and he immediately shoved her away.

She smirked, tightening her grip on her knife. But she didn't have any time to use it because a heavy boot rammed into her chest and knocked her to the ground. She gasped as the wind was knocked from her lungs, rolling to the side to avoid being grabbed.

She hopped up and ran to the side, switching her knife hand and then plunging the blade into his shoulder. He shouted and she laughed, pulling the knife away and watching his jacket begin to turn red.

Archer reached to press the wound with a hand, staggering and turning to her. "You little bitch." She raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" He just took a sighing breath and backed against the wall, pressing against it and sitting down. She stepped up to him and knelt.

"For your information, I know exactly where I am. And most things you bring me will most likely have consequence. But that's alright, you didn't know. So I'll leave you here to wait for your little doctor friends. You can find me... somewhere. Maybe in 999's containment, he's pretty cute."

With that she turned and walked away, glancing back and watching in amusement as Archer attempted to push himself up, cursing her out.

It's me. I'm back. I'm so happy that I've finished this. :D

Anyway, point out any mistakes or don't, I don't really care :P

(Let me know who you think Tay is >:D)
