Steven paced around in the temple. "Shouldn't they be back by now?" He worried.

Garnet placed a hand on his shoulder, stopping him in his tracks. "They'll be fine, I've seen it." Garnet reassured, pointing a finger to her shades.

Steven couldn't disagree with Garnet. If she said something was right, it likely was. I mean, she could literally see the future in a way.

"They have taken a while, maybe the corrupted gem is just a tad more... troublesome than they thought." Pearl reasoned.

"They can handle it." Garnet reminded.

Suddenly, the warp activated within the temple, flooding it with light as the gems necks all snapped to look.

"Honestly I'd be more worried about the corrupted gem." A raspy, yet friendly voice spoke out from the light, before stepping out confidently.

Silence.

The gems all stared at the fusion.

"Bad time?" F/n asked.

"Y/NNNNN! PERIDOOOT!" Steven cheered as he ran up to you and hugged F/n tightly.

"Woah! Bit handsy are we?" F/n laughed out.

"You— you fused..." Pearl stammered, staring at you with wide eyes and gaping mouth.

"Yo! You look awesome!" Amethyst chimed in.

"We know." The fusion boasted, slightly flexing both sets of their arms.

Garnet stood by the side with a grin slowly building on her face until she was uncharacteristically happy. She walked over and placed her hands on your shoulders, having to look up slightly to meet your gaze.

"How do you feel?" Garnet asked.

"Amazing." F/n laughed uproariously, receiving a smirk from Garnet as she let go.

"Ooh! Ooh! What should we call you?" Steven questioned, hopping off of your chest and onto the ground.

"Please, call me F/n." F/n said as they squatted down and patted Steven's head surprisingly softly for their size.

"How did it go? The mission, I mean." Pearl asked.

"Y/n and Peridot had a little trouble with getting through that things armour, so I took it upon myself to end it." F/n explained with a proud tone, punching a fist into their palm.

"We should go show Lapis!" Steven cheered.

"Sure! Anyone would love to meet me, I'm certain!" The fusion playfully bragged.

F/n and Steven walked and stood on the warp pad. It was funny seeing such a tall being stood next to the small boy. F/n winked at the gems, before the warp pad's light took them away.

"Well... they seem, uhm nice enough?" Pearl said.

"I like em." Amethyst shrugged.

"They seem a bit prideful and cocky, but they were friendly, and most importantly... stable." Garnet explained, still unable to stop her smile.

"Lapis~!" Steven called out as he followed F/n to the barn, his little legs struggling slightly to keep up with the fusion's long stride.

"Steven!" Lapis replied back, flying out of the barn and over to the boy before stopping in mid air.

Her face was filled with shock for a moment, before she floated down hesitantly and scanned your figure cautiously.

"Oh, I get it, anyone would be shocked seeing me for the first time!" F/n joked.

"Uhhh, Steven, you gonna introduce me to your 'friend'?" Lapis asked, slightly threatened by your large appearance.

"Oh you know them already. You know both of them." Steven said with a smirk and raised his eyebrows.

Lapis' eyes widened as she took another look at you.

"Please, look all you want. It might be a bit hard to look away I'm sure." The fusion teased.

"Y/n? Peridot?" Lapis managed to say under her breath, still in utter surprise.

"That would be me! Well... them I guess. I'm F/n, a pleasure to meet you." F/n said as they held a hand out with one of their lower arms.

Lapis stared at your hand, then staring at all of you.

"What? Something I sai—!" F/n was cut off as Lapis firmly hugged their lower body.

"Oof! Well looks like someone's happy to see me." F/n laughed as they returned the hug with their lower arms.

Lapis smiled as she squeezed the fusion tighter.

"Okay, Okay! I get it!" F/n laughed as they picked Lapis up into their upper arms and held her carefully.

"You look amazing." Lapis giggled.

"Unsurprisingly not the first time I've heard that today." F/n boasted.

Steven stood in awe and joy with a huge smile on his face from ear to ear.

"Well, I'll leave you three... wait no, two alone for now." Steven said as he began to walk away back to the warp pad.

"Oh no you don't!" F/n said as they walked over to Steven and scooped him up in their arms, now next to Lapis.

"Wah! Why? What's up?" Steven asked, looking up at F/n's four eyes.

F/n looked down at the boy and smirked for a moment, before leaning down and placing a kiss on his forehead. "Now you can go!" F/n joked as they set him back on the floor.

Steven blushed for a moment before his smile reappeared. "Awww thanks!" He cheered before he walked off, waving.

F/n waved back with one of their lower arms.

"Forgetting someone?" Lapis' voice caught F/n's attention.

"Oh, you want one of these?" The fusion asked as they craned their neck down and pecked Lapis on the forehead, causing a huge blush to scatter across her face.

"I- I meant that you can put me down now." Lapis mumbled.

"Oh, you liked it!" F/n teased as they set Lapis back down on the ground.

"Which one was it that decided to do that?" Lapis huffed as she crossed her arms, a small pout forming on her lips.

"Group decision." F/n said as they winked with one green and one E/c eye, and shrugged with both sets of arms.
