it was one of your last days in Mondstadt, enjoying them with walks through the city while you were on lunchbreak.
the sun was shining, the sky was as blue as it can be and birds flew through the air. a perfect day for a stroll, wanting to escape the four walls of your office.
you greeted everyone on your way, sending nods of acknowledgement and occasionaly small waves towards the citizens.
peace was among Mondstadt, as a sweet melody played through the streets.
you traversed the main piazza, stopping by to talk with Sara at the best restaurant in the city.
both of you were aqquintances and did favors for eachother once in a while. sometimes she even gave you some free food on the way, but you always insisted on paying.
after ordering something to eat, she told you to wait until it would be finished. your stomach growled lowly and signalled your hunger.
having nothing to do you sat down and looked around, observing the townspeople while waiting for your meal to be cooked.
not frar away from you was a certain bard, the best of Mondstadt to be exact, and played a lovely tune on his lyre, giggling at the joyous faces of his audience around him.
the happiness of them made him forget all his pain, even if just for a short time. his past actions still haunted him every single night and he just can't forget what he had done.
the people around him clapped loudly in excitement when he finished the song with a bow, gaining your attention due to the sudden noise.
and that was it, the moment your eyes met. it was something familiar, as if you met already but you couldn't quite place it.
your staredown was suddenly interrupted when Sara called you since your food was finally ready. making your way towards the counter you received a small package in which your meal was, just something simple and quickly to eat.
while you took your lunch and thought about where you would go to eat it, you felt someone stare at you.
feeling a tad creeped out and paranoid, you looked around just to find aqua green hues directed towards you once again all across the plaza.
this time you both weren't interrupted, instead you just noticed that he was making his way to you, lyre and apples in his delicate hands.
