When Mystery Inc. and Team SSSN hear about a series of dognappings, they start to investigate. But when Scooby is dognapped, mistaken for another dog, the gang track him to a secret hideout in the desert where they face a witch doctor and a ghostly...
Elsewhere in the village, Scooby and Shaggy were roaming around. That's when Scooby's nose began twitching and he pointed in the direction the smell came from.
"RFood! RFood! RFood! RFood!" Scooby exclaims
"Food? Good boy, where is it?" Shaggy asks. "Lead me to it!
When following the scent, they found themselves in a room stocked with various foods of different types.
"Man, those Pueblo Indians sure knew how to live." Shaggy comments. "They got salami, ham, sardines, canned pudding, not to menti-hey, wait a minute! This isn't indian food!"
Scooby found a shelf of dog food.
"RDog food!" Scooby states
"Dog food???" Shaggy comments, grabbing a can of the dog food. "IT IS dog food. Scooby, we found the dognapper's hideout! But, I don't see any of the dognappers around, so why not fortify ourselves with a groovy little snack?"
Later, Shaggy was throwing some food together and Scooby poked his head into one of the many cabinets, discovering a sort of secret slide passage.
"RHey, what's this?" Scooby questions
That's when a hand reached out of a slot in the wall and gave Scooby a push, sending him down the slide and the cabinet shut. When Scooby came to a stop, he crashed into a pole that Daphne and Scarlet were tied to.
"Scooby, untie us, quick!" Daphne says. "That witch doctor could come back at any time!"
:RAnd the dogs?" Scooby asks as he got to work
"The dogs? Sure, we'll get them out of those cages." Scarlet responds. "Now hurry!"
Back in the ceremonial building, Fred, Neptune, Sage, and Sun were investigating the altar.
"I got a hunch there's a secret passage around here somewhere." Fred comments as Sun's tail managed to trigger a switch which revealed the said secret passage. "There it is!!"
With the passage open rose up a stone bench with Velma sitting on it.
"Velma! What are you doing there??" Fred asks
"I don't know. I sat down to rest, the next minute i'm here." Velma responds
That's when Daphne and Scarlet poke their heads out.
When following the two, they found the room where Scooby had freed the dogs.
"Good boy, Scooby!" Fred cheered. "You've found them and freed them all!"
"Does this mean we've solved the dognapping mystery?" Sage asks
"Not yet." Fred responds. "Hey, Scooby, see if any of your pals know anything about that witch doctor or the dognappers."
"ROkay." Scooby responds
Scooby had some barking conversations with the dogs, soon enough getting what info they needed.
"You know where he is, Scooby?" Neptune asks
"Reha! Reaah! Reah! Reah!" Scooby responds
"Okay, let's go!" Fred states. "We're right behind you."
Meanwhile, Shaggy was walking around with the sandwich he had made.
"While i'm searching for Scooby, i'll just finish this little morsel." Shaggy comments
Shaggy hears dogs barking right as he was about to eat the sandwich, turns to the source of the barking and sees three dogs he doesn't know the name of along with Scooby running in his direction and he turns around to run.
"YIPE!!!" Shaggy yelps
Shaggy ends up getting sent into the air by two of the unknown dogs and Scooby then gets run down by the third unknown dog and the sandwich goes into the air in several pieces and he manages to make all the sandwich pieces land on top of each other.
"What a close shave!" Shaggy comments. "That was almost a catastrophe."
Shaggy then ate the sandwich in one bite just as the others ran by.
"Hey, Shaggy!!" Fred called out. "Come on, follow the dogs!"
One by one, all the dogs and everyone else slides down the ladder, still following the dogs but Shaggy ended up breaking the ladder.
"RScooby-Doo!!!" Scooby cheers
When the Witch Doctor spotted them, the culprit under the mask presumably goes wide eyed.
"They've spotted him!" Fred comments
That's when the dogs managed to corner the Witch Doctor up on a pole.
"They've got him!!" Neptune called out
When they all got over there, Scooby reached forward and unmasked the Witch Doctor, revealing the culprit to really be none other than.......

"Why, it's Buck Masters, the owner of Big Red!" Velma exclaimed
"He's the dognapper?!??!?!???" Scarlet and Sage question
Masters growled and snaps, "You blasted kids!!!! Why didn't you mind your own business??!???"
"Catching dognappers is our business, Mr. Masters." Fred responds. "After all, Scooby-Doo is a dog. And we love him very much."
"RAwwww....." Scooby comments
Later, they had called up the sheriff and Masters was arrested.
"That was quite a plot you kids uncovered." The sheriff comments. "Who would've suspected Masters of dognapping his own pet?"
"He decided to win the dog show by dognapping the only three dogs who could beat Big Red." Velma explains. "he dognapped Big Red first to avoid suspicion."
"And then, Big Red was to turn up just before the show and win first prize by default." Scarlet explains further
"You said something about a phantom indian on horseback." The sheriff recalled. "What about that?"
"Simple." Fred says. "He used a movie projector from the back of his truck."
Shaggy went wide eyed when spotting a indian-like shadow on the wall.
"Look!!! Geronimo!!! He's back again!!!" Shaggy yelped
However, when everyone looked over, they found it was only Scooby using a feather duster and a tomahawk and casting the shadow with a lamp he aimed.
