"who's that?"

y/n looks up when she sees bokuto running towards a male with black, spiky hair. he has broad shoulders and seems to have a muscular body, something y/n very much likes in a guy. (not to mention he's also very tall so his features can already make y/n simp for this guy).

"oh no, watch out, y/n is on the look for a new victim."

the (h/c) haired female rolls her eyes and pushes kaori away. "oh, shut the hell up. that's so not true, i'm just curious."

"he's the captain of nekoma's volleyball team," yukie answers to y/n, crossing her arms and cocking one eyebrow at her. "you sure that he's not your next victim?"

the female bites her lip and looks away from nekoma's captain, shaking her head. "nooo... no." she shakes her head repeatedly, trying to convince herself that kuroo won't be the next one she gets a crush on. "not going to happen. bokuto and i just broke up, it's way too soon to start a new relationship anyway."

yukie laughs, "that's what you said with bokuto too, and you ended up dating him anyway."

y/n shakes her head harshly. "but not this time! there is no way that i'll fall for a captain again, how handsome he might be."

oh, what a lie that was.

"who's handsome?"

bokuto, kuroo and akaashi walk towards the girls, bokuto having a smile on his face, like he always does when he's seeing the girls (especially y/n). "talking about me, y/n-chan?"

the female rolls her eyes at bokuto his words, "you wish, bokuto."

"how many times do i have to tell you that you shouldn't call me by my last name anymore? it's kōtarō, y/n! do i have to spell it out for you? k-ō-t-a-r-ō!"

the two start to argue about the first and last name basis, bickering to one another. kuroo starts to frown as he watches them. "do they often do that?"

kaori laughs and nods, "oh, you have no idea. this goes on and on for about a year now, so nothing new." she shakes her head as she watches the two, y/n flicking on bokuto's forehead to tell him to shut up.

kuroo laughs and shakes his head. "anyway, i'm kuroo, nekoma's captain. nice to meet you for real this time! i'll go and say hi to the others now, tell bokuto that i'm gone when he's done arguing with the pretty girl."

yukie and kaori hold their thumbs up, "we'll do, kuroo-san!"

"she's our other manager," akaashi says, then walking away with kuroo to say hello to the other players, that being the rest of fukurodani and a few of nekoma.

kaori and yukie glare at each other, yukie having a smirk around her lips. "he just said pretty girl, didn't he?"

"he sure did, yukie-chan."

"but you and bokuto are just so fucking funny together!" yukie says with a hard laugh right after, placing her hand in front of her mouth.
