Darling in the Franxx: ReBorn [DISCONTINUED]

Platform Outside Plantation.

"It's klaxosaur! Ready intercepting fire!" yelled the guard to the control room as the klaxosaur slowly making its move to the plantation. "So that a klaxosaur?" gasped Naomi. "Naomi! Hold to the handrail! Now!" Hiro yelled while the plantation's turrets started firing at the klaxosaur. "What?? But why?" Naomi asked in fear. "Damn it, just do it if you want to live!" shouted Hiro. But she is so scared and didn't even move a little. "Damn it, Naomi. Why are you so stubborn?" Hiro whispered while embracing Naomi and hold the handrail with his other hand.

The klaxosaur's leg was shot and fell under the platform, destroying the pillar that held the platform. Then, it moved its tail upward, wiping out all the turrets that was firing at it. At the same time, the platform was pushed to the left side by its body, throwing Hiro and Naomi onto the plantation's side walk. "Come on, Naomi!" Hiro said to his current partner. "H-How you'd know th-that?" she asked while stuttering. "I'll tell you later. Now, we have to go to the Franxx's garage." he said while carrying Naomi at his back. "Never know you're this heavy." teased Hiro

While running to the garage, a white lion-shaped figure appeared to be chasing the klaxosaur behind them. "Here she comes."

Opening Ceremony

The parasites was about to ride their Franxx for the first time when the fog rolling in. "This is bad, the fog is rolling in." Dr Franxx said in a concerned voice. Not long after that the klaxosaur was insight to all of them at the ceremony. Papa and the other just sitting there with no concern at all because they were not right there. Instead, they're in their lair, Lamarck Club. "A moho-class, huh. It's big, strong, and has a fine look." said Dr Franxx like he is in a documentary. "This is no time for casual commentary!" scolded Nana. "Prepare for evacuation! Hurry up and retrieve the parasites!" she yelled again.

"What's happening?" asked Goro inside their Franxx. Suddenly, the Franxx shacked violently and instead of seeing the gate in front of them, it was replaced with a klaxosaur head that was about to fire a beam toward them. "Garage 2 damaged. Unfit for housing Delphinium." said a voice over the speaker. Ichigo and Goro was not prepared for this to happen. Fortunately, the klaxosaur was pushed roughly by the same lion-shaped figure away from the garage. It bit the back of the klaxosaur firmly and the klaxosaur moved like crazy, trying to remove the lion but didn't work. "A stampede, now?" Nana said. "What an ugly sight. Did she devour her stamen again?" Papa asked. "It's hard to tell which is the real monster here." said the Vice Chairman sarcastically.

The lion tore the back of the klaxosaur revealing some wire hang down the torn up part. The klaxosaur suddenly open its mouth and a blue light was seen along with the changes with it tail, looking like it is absorbing energy. The klaxosaur then ejected the lion to the front and recharging once again. "Guys!" yelled Naomi but stopped upon seeing the fight. Hiro then suddenly moved a bit from Naomi making her confused. "Why are you moving away fr-" the question was cut by a sudden blue beam fired from the klaxosaur to the lion. Seconds later, Hiro pulled Naomi closer to him making her even more confused. "What are yo-" she was trying to ask when the big lion-shaped figure landed just right next to them. "That's why." Hiro answered.

A door on the lion opened and a man, or what Hiro knows as 081, fell down on the floor. Naomi immediately covered her eyes and began to hug Hiro. "I'm scared..." she whispered to Hiro. He didn't say a word until a pink-headed girl wearing a red pistil suit came out from the door. "ZeroTwo..." Hiro said. "Oh. You again." she replied. "What, you've met her before Hiro?" asked Naomi, releasing her hug from Hiro. "Yes. At the lake." Hiro answered. "What are you doing in there?" Naomi asked, now focusing on ZeroTwo. "What, you ask? Monster hunting of course." she said sarcastically. "Are you going to pilot this robot alone?" Naomi asked in a concerned tone. "I gotta go." said ZeroTwo, turning back into the figure.

"Wait." Hiro said firmly. This made both Naomi and ZeroTwo turned to him. "Let me pilot this robot with you." he continued making Naomi surprised but ZeroTwo stay with her stoic face. "Wait, you didn't even managed to pilot with me in simulation, and now you want to pilot with her in a real battle? Are you crazy, Hiro?" Naomi spited to him. "You'll die you know!" she continued. But Hiro was sure what he is doing and said, "If I didn't pilot with her, that thing," he pointed to the frozen klaxosaur and continued, "will eventually move again and everyone here will die either way." "I was about to say exactly the same thing like he said. Who is him? I will ask him later..." ZeroTwo whispered.

"Why're you so sure that you can handle riding with me?" asked ZeroTwo this time. Hiro seem to be shocked with the question for a moment, and then he said, "I know you. You want to find your long lost 'Darling', right?" making ZeroTwo shocked this time. "How did you know that?" she asked. "I will answer all your questions after we defeat that thing." said him, pointing at the klaxosaur. "O-Okay." she said while being pulled by Hiro into the Franxx, leaving Naomi behind. "Hiro!" shouted Naomi. "Please take care! And don't die, okay!" she continued. Hiro just gave her a thumbs up and closed the door. "Hey, are you okay?" asked Hiro when he saw tear dripping from her eyes. "Yes, I'm perfectly fine. It just..." she was unable to continue she sentence when Hiro embraced her while stroking her pink hair. "It's okay, we'll talk about this later okay?" said him to comfort her. "O-Okay." she replied. Then she leaned to him, placing her lips onto Hiro's making him stuttered for moment, then enjoyed it. "Still the same, sweet lips you have..." he whispered.

Opening Ceremony.

The klaxosaur finished its recharge and sprinted toward Strelizia to destroy it. Then, the plantation's wall was destroyed by its hit, making some of the debris fell near the parasites, Nana, Dr Franxx and several other staffs. "W-Was it eaten?" asked Goro while covering Ichigo from debris.
"No." the doctor said steadily. "That's..." he paused as a bright light coming from the destroyed part of the plantation. Suddenly, the klaxosaur was lifted up by Strelizia, still in it lion shaped, slowly turn into humanoid form. Then, she threw the klaxosaur far away from the plantation while its transformation was still going. "When the negative and positive—male and female factors combines, and their heart become one, the iron maiden will reveal her true form." explained Dr Franxx while Strelizia finished it transformation.

"Now this is a Franxx! How truly beautiful! You're the best, Strelizia!" he continued proudly for its creation. "But, who's piloting it?" Nana asked in a questioning tone.

The klaxosaur then continued its recharge once again to fire the blue beam again, but before it could fire the beam, Strelizia turned to the klaxosaur, throwing her spear right into its mouth making the recharge process stopped for a moment. Strelizia then activated her thruster and fly toward the klaxosaur then pushed the spear deeper into the klaxosaur while the spear's magma fuel flowing into it. "Game over." she said when the magma fuel fully reloaded into the spear, releasing a big orange cartridge out from the spear. From a big, blue creature into a huge cloud of blue liquid making a short rain of the liquid after the spear blasted a yellow beam into it. Strelizia then stood up while a yellow orb sliding down her spear and fell onto the ground.

"That's a Franxx, the kind of robot we'll pilot." said Ichigo.

In Front Of Strelizia.

"You have a lot to explain to me you know, darling." ZeroTwo said while being carried by Hiro toward the exit. "Yeah, I know." he replied in a relieved voice. Meanwhile, outside Strelizia, Squad 13 along with Nana and Hachi waited for the pilot to exit the Franxx. To Squad 13 surprise, Hiro came out from the Franxx while carrying the horned girl with him. He just smiled to them and rubbed the back of his head. "Hiro?!" Ichigo yelled while Zorome said "What are you doing up there?!" "Wait, there is someone else."Goro said, attracting the squad attention. "Are those..." "Horns?" Miku continued Goro's sentence. "You mean the pistil is the one?" Futoshi asked them. "The Partner Killer..."Ichigo said while worrying about Hiro. "Let me introduce you. That is Code number 002, a pistil with the special forces unit APE directly controls. She's a girl that carries klaxosaur blood" she explained.

Meanwhile, back to Hiro and ZeroTwo, she whispered to Hiro, "Hey," making Hiro turned to her. Then, she continued, "Found you, my Darling." she said making Hiro blushed. "But you still have a lot to explain to me, you know." she reminded him. " Yeah, yeah I know. But If I tell you, you must believe in me, okay?" he replied. " Okay then. See you at the lake tomorrow, Darling." she said in a cheerful voice. "I hope she will believe..." he whispered to himself.
