ZeroTwo's POV

"So, that's it?" I asked Hiro after three hours of listening to him about the 'dream' he had in past days. "I guess so..." Hiro said, looking toward the lake with a sad face. "Hmm... I guess I would believe you because I've kinda had the same dream but I didn't expect it to be real..." I confessed. I had these dream three days before arrive at Plantation 13 with the doctor. I wanted to tell him but I thought he would probably ignore me because he was angry because I've devoured four stamens he brought for me recently. "So..." before I could finished my sentences, he hugged me and I felt wet on my shoulder. "A-Are you okay?" I asked, trying to comfort him. "I thought I've lost you forever... I miss you..." he spitted to me. "Oh my god he's soooo cute when he cries..." I whispered.

Then, Hiro stand in front of me, and said this in a concern look, "You don't have to rage like you did in the past you know? Because you've found your beloved darling right?" he asked. I giggled a bit and replied, "Of course, darling, But you know, I'm worried about the klaxosaur and the VIRM thing. And I'm sure that if we tell the squad about this, they would think we are crazy." I told him. He walked toward me and sit beside me and put his hand on my shoulder, pushing me to the ground, planting his lips on mine. "We'll figured that out later." He said, breaking the kiss. "What a soft lips you got there, Darling," I thought. "Hey ZeroTwo? Remember that we must become an official parasite partner first. So, just do what we've done in the past, okay?" he reminded me as he started walking toward the quarters. "Okay, darling. See you tomorrow!" I shouted.

Mistilteinn's Quarters.

3rd Person Pov

Hiro waked up a bit earlier that everyone else and prepared himself. Then, he went to the place that the bird died and buried it. "Glad that she believed me. Otherwise, I might get problems if she didn't." he thought as he making his way back to the quarters for breakfast. "Oh wait, what about Mitsuru? I guess I could slow talk to him later..." he suddenly remembered. Then, he saw Ichigo in front of the quarters' main door while playing with a cat. "Nya, nya... A new cat from around here?" she said without realizing the presence of Hiro. "Ichigo?" Hiro asked. "H-Hiro?!" "You didn't have to wait out here for me." Hiro stated. "It's your fault for running off first thing in the morning. As awkward as it is, you're staying here now. Hold your head high, and make yourself at home." She explained. "And Naomi has been transferred to Plantation 26 to fill a spot there." She continued.

"Tch, I thought she will be staying here" Hiro whispered as he walked passing Ichigo. "Were you the one piloting the Franxx?" Ichigo asked. "Yes." answered Hiro steadily. "And I want to ride with her from now on." "That girl isn't part of our squad, you know." she warned Hiro. "As long as I can pilot, I don't care." He stated. "I heard rumors about her. None of her partner could ever ride with her more than three time. They didn't make it out alive." she said with a concerned look. "I don't know if that is true b-" she was cut by Hiro that said "I can ride with her, so, any problem?" he said sarcastically, making Ichigo silent for a moment. Then he was about to enter the quarters when Goro came out. "Hey Hiro, get inside quick. That girl's in our mess hall." He explained making Hiro smiled quickly.

As Hiro entered the mess hall, a strong smell of honey can be detected from ZeroTwo's table. "She really love sweet thing. Guess she still remember the candy I gave her..." Hiro whispered as he reached his seat. In the other hand, the girls were staring at her with a weird looking face. "What a weird person. I wonder if she like sweets." Kokoro said to the girl. "She's not a person. Not with those things on her head." Miku whispered to Kokoro while using her fingers to mock ZeroTwo's horns. "Cut it out. She's our savior, you know." Ichigo said to Miku making her huff. "Do you think she really has klaxosaur blood? Besides, I thought nobody has single-digit codes." asked Ikuno. Back to the boys, Futoshi was taking the breads from the basket. "She nothing like the rumors said." he gasped. "She is ruining her good looks with the way she's eating." Goro whispered to them.

Suddenly, Zorome stood and walked toward ZeroTwo and said, "Hey there! It was a real treat to watch your skill in action. I, Zorome the Great, shall graciously ride with you if you so desire. I'm sure I can do much better job than that wuss. Why don't we try... Eek!?!?" he stopped his damn long speech when ZeroTwo put her honey-covered hand onto his uniform. "What do you think you're doing!?! Aw, my Sunday best!" he yelled. ZeroTwo that stood up and walked toward Hiro and this time she sat on Hiro's lap, not the chair. "What a bold move you got there." Hiro whispered to ZeroTwo. "It would be boring if I repeat the same." she responded in a playful tone. "And by the way, let's finish the honey together, darling?" she said it out loud.

"Darling?" everyone except Hiro and ZeroTwo asked. The question was interrupted by the creaking door opened by someone. "Nana!" yelled Kokoro. "Ehem, I'll be your caretaker, just like in Garden. APE HQ has assigned me to 13th Plantation Corps. My name is Nana. I look forward to your cooperation." she introduced herself. Everyone was cheering for the news, and Ichigo asked to Nana, "Is she is going to stay here?" she looked at ZeroTwo and Hiro, cuddling together. "We're awaiting orders from HQ on what to do with ZeroTwo. But in general, she won't be working with you guys." she explained. But Hiro wasn't surprised about that at all. He then whispered to ZeroTwo, "Wait for me?" "Of course, darling." said ZeroTwo as she stood and walked toward Nana. Meanwhile, Ichigo was staring at ZeroTwo with the eyes full of hatred, jealousy and sadness. "I will get rid of you from Hiro..." she whispered.
