~F/N POV~
"243 files. The first dates back nine months. It all started in Detroit, and quickly spread across the country." Connor scanned all the files on the terminal so quickly, it didn't even give me and Hank a chance to relax from his getting to know us interrogation.
"Yeah, there's a lot. Hence why we're so swamped," I shrugged.
"An AX400 is reported to have assaulted a man last night. That could be a good starting point for our investigation," Connor pushed himself up from the desk and walked around to mine and Hank's, looking at both of us, alternating which way his head faced. Hank didn't seem interested and tried to make himself seem occupied. Connor just continued around the desks till he was behind his shoulder.
"I understand you're facing personal issues, Lieutenant, but you need to move past them and-"
"Hey! Don't talk to me like you know me. I'm not your friend and I don't need your advice, okay?" Hank cut him off sternly. Connor looked to me for assistance.
"He doesn't even want my advice for his personal issues Connor," I shrugged. He nodded in response to me, and Hank just grumbled something. Connor lowered himself to Hank's level, resting his hands on his desk. I watched intently, eager to see how Connor would approach Hank and how Hank would respond. They were definitely going to be a dynamic duo one day; I could feel it.
"I've been assigned this mission, Lieutenant. I didn't come here to wait until you feel like working." It happened so quickly, I had little to no time to react except to stand up from my seat and reach for the two men as it unfolded. Hank grabbed Connor's jacket and pinned him up against the glass beside his desk.

"Connor-"
"Listen asshole. If it was up to me, I'd throw the lot of you in a dumpster and set a match to it. So, stop pissing me off, or things are gonna get nasty," Hank was pissed. Connor didn't seem very fazed by his actions, but I was.
"Hank, put him down," I sternly said, causing them both to look at me, "Please Hank?" I softened my features, which made him give in.
"Lieutenant, uh sorry to disturb you. I have some information on the AX400 that attacked the guy last night. It's been seen in the Ravendale district," Chris approached us and explained.
"We're on it," Me and Hank responded at the same time, causing us to look at each other. He just rolled his eyes and walked away, heading for his car. Connor straightened himself up, seeming to still be processing Hank's aggression. I came over to him and put a hand on his shoulder with a smile.
"You'll get there eventually, but you don't need to try so hard. He'll warm up to you in his own time. You don't have to try and win us over Connor."

I headed out towards the car park to find Hank sat in his car waiting for us both. Connor follower behind me, almost seeming like a lost puppy at the moment. I slid into the passenger side of his car and Connor got in the back. Now we were on our way to the Ravendale district.
~3rd Person POV~
"We've got officers sweeping the neighbourhood, in case anybody saw anything," Collins informed the detectives shortly after they exited Hank's car. Hank still didn't seem in a good mood, but he was glad to not be confined to a small space with Connor anymore. This morning had been rough for him.
"Okay. Well let me know if they turn anything up."
"What are you gonna do with that?" Collins asked, referring to Connor who was stood perfectly straight and still beside F/N who leant on Hank's car.
