"I've no idea," He paused, "F/N seems to like it."

"Really? Would've never guessed," Collins rolled his eyes at the female who was drinking her 4th cup of coffee of the day. It was no secret that F/N had no issue with androids, so of course she'd be perfectly okay with this one around the station. She was lost in her own little world right now, relishing in the dirty bean water she loved so dearly. Hank shook his head and walked over to them both.

"Hey, get off my car," Hank scolded F/N.

"Geez, sorry Mr Grump," She mumbled, getting off his car and looking off to the side up the street, avoiding his gaze. It was as if he woke up this morning and just chose to be a miserable ass today. She wouldn't let it get to her though, today was going to be a good day for her.

"It took the first bus that came along and stayed at the end of the line. Its decision wasn't planned, it was driven by fear."

"Pft, androids don't feel fear," F/N rolled her eyes at Hank, like he'd know.

"Deviants do," Connor corrected, "They get overwhelmed by their emotions and make irrational decisions."

"Emotions caused by irrational humans no doubt," F/N chimed.

"Ah well, that still doesn't tell us where it went."

"It didn't have a plan, and it had nowhere to go. Maybe it didn't go far," Connor thought out loud, showing his process in his words. F/N looked around at the area. There were a few places a scared android could've gone to hide or take shelter for a bit. The chances of it still being here were high, especially if it was damaged like the last deviant they encountered. There was the motel, probably too obvious, and an abandoned house which seemed more like the likely option. It was safe and less suspicious; it also meant no witnesses unlike the motel which would've had a staff member in last night.

"Perhaps it went into the house? It's abandoned, makes sense it would seek somewhere safe that nobody would really go to," F/N spoke up after glancing round at the possible locations it could've been.

"Maybe. That does make some sense," Hank replied, "Lets go." Connor was the first to cross the road, heading over to the house. F/N and Hank held back while Connor climbed the fence to investigate it further.

"Anybody home?" He called out then turned to the detectives, "There's blue blood on the fence. I know another android was here." F/N and Hank waited patiently while Connor looked for a way in around the other side. After a few minutes, Hank was fed up with waiting and climbed over to find out what Connor was doing. F/N heard a commotion from inside and heard Hank and Connor yell out to her. The AX400 was here, it was running. She caught sight of it running past the motel but wasn't fast enough to react.

"Which way did it go F/N?" Connor asked, climbing out from under the fence where she was now stood.

"That way, toward the train station. I wasn't fast enough to grab them," She pulled her gun out and began to follow the android. They made it down the street and spotted the deviant with a little girl, helping her over the fence. Connor reached the fence first and stared at the deviant. F/N approached from behind with her gun drawn but lowered it when she saw the child beside the deviant. She felt it again, the guilt. The child was frightened.

"F/N don't shoot! We need it alive!" He gestured for her to lower the gun. The deviant and the girl slid down a mud slide toward the highway. They were insane! F/N came up to the fence and stared through at them, her heart skipping a beat as they began to cross together. Hank had finally caught up, panting.

"Oh fuck. That's insane!" They watched a few moments longer before Connor began to climb the fence. Both Hank and F/N grabbed the back of his jacket.
