All A Lie

Jughead's pov:

As Betty walked off with Harper I made sure she couldn't hear me when I went off on my mom.

Ju-"Mom, what the hell is the matter with you?!"

G-"Oh come on Jug, you can't really think that a knocked up teenager just showed up here asking for help, she's probably looking for someone to watch her kid while she smokes pot"

Ju-(scroffs)"You are unbelievable. I really like this girl, and I love to raise Harper with her. Even if she is a teenager, she is an amazing mom who has worked her ass off ever since Harper was born. Sure, she came showed up here in labor, in need of help, and looking like a beat up maid, but that didn't stop me from falling in love with her. I don't care that you think she is using me, because I know she's not. Now get the hell out of my bar"

She scoffed before grabbing Jelly's wrist and pulling her to the door then turning to me.

G-"I can't believe you'rd abandoning your own family, for a stranger and her kid"

Ju-"Let me make myself clear. You, are not my family"

I pulled Jelly away from her and gave her a hug.

Ju-"You call me if you ever want to come stay here, okay?"

She nodded and kept her arms around me.

Ju"Don't get in too much trouble"

Je-"I won't" (smiles)

My mom then grabbed her back and stormed out the door. I sighed and went up the stairs to Betty's room

Betty's pov:

B-"I'm sorry you had to see mommy yell"

I bounced Harper around while trying to show that I wasn't crying. Harper took her little hand and wiped my tears away, I smiled lightly at her as the door opened and Jug walked in.

J-"Hey, I'm so sorry about my mom. I asked her to leave-"

B-"What's wrong with me Jug? Do I have to try harder? Spend more time with her? Be less needy...what's wrong with me" (sobs)

He rushed over to me and wrapped his arms around Harper and I before pulling me to his chest and kissed my head.

J-"There's nothing wrong with you, some people just can't accept how good of a mom you are at a younger age. You are a better mom to Harper then my mom ever was to me"

B-"Really?"

J-(nods)"Really. Harper loves you, and she couldn't have asked for a better mom"

B-(sniffles)"Thank you"

J-(smiles)"You're welcome"

He planted a soft kiss on my forehead while still holding me to his chest. Harper started to squirm around bai Jug took her and she widely smiled.

H-"Mama"

I looked up at her and smiled softly then tickled her belly as she giggled. I loved to hear her giggle, it always made me feel better.
