Everyone starts to get ready for the party. They all changed into their outfits and everyone is once again taking pictures.

"Avani!" I yelled her name
"I need your help, I can't pick which outfit to wear" I sighed
"I like the one you have on right now," Avani says
"Wait really?" I asked

"Yeah! It's cute and I know Vinnie will like it" She says and laughs
I playfully hit her "Shut up oh my gosh..." I said

After I finished getting ready, Avani and I walked down the stairs and we could see almost everyone at the party. The music was playing, and everyone was drinking. Avani and I danced for a little bit before she left and got us drinks. I sat down and went on my phone while she went away. I see someone approach me and that's when I looked up.

"Vinnie! Oh my gosh" I said as I stood up and hugged him
"Wow, you look really good tris," He says as he looks me up and down
"I could say the same about you" I replied back as I saw Avani walking over to us with two drinks

"Hey, Vinnie!" Avani says
"Hey Avani," He says
"Ugh, I would've made you a drink but you weren't here before I left," She says
"It's okay, don't worry about it," Vinnie says

"Hey, I'm gonna go talk to the guys but I'll see you guys later," Vinnie says
"Okay!" I replied back

Avani and I danced together until Hailey and Addison arrived. We waived at them and signaled for them to come to join us. Eventually, Avani and Addison left to go dance with their boyfriends, and Hailey was talking to Chase in a corner across the room. I had to use the bathroom, so I got up and went to use the one upstairs. After a couple of minutes, I heard a knock at the door.

"Hold on I'm almost done," I said

I heard another knock, so I quickly washed my hands and opened the door. I couldn't believe my eyes. Travis was standing right in front of me... my abusive ex.

"What are you doing here?" I say
"I wanted to see how you were doing," Travis says
"No, I don't care. You have to leave right now" I said as he started walking into the bathroom.
"Travis leave me alone," I said

"I just wanna talk to you," He said
"I don't want to talk to you," I said as I tried to push past him! He grabbed my hands and pushed me against the wall.

"STOP!" I yelled but he told me to stop
"Shut up right now," He said
"Now I don't want to hurt you, but if you don't shut up right now, then I will' He says

"Please just leave me alone," I said looking down

"We used to be so perfect together. I want you" he says
"I don't want you!" I yelled in his face

He then punches me multiple times, yelling and screaming in my face. The last punch caused me to fall to the ground.
"Look what you made me do you dumb bitch!" He says

He gets a phone notification, and this caused him to quickly leave and unlock the bathroom door. I stood up and looked in the mirror; blood running down my face, two black eyes, and a swollen nose. How can I let anyone see me like this? I thought to myself and I realized that I can't stay here tonight. I grabbed a random hat from the bathroom and used it to try and cover my face as I headed downstairs. I saw Vinnie and the boys standing near the staircase, I quickly walk down the steps right past them.

"Hey, Tris what's wrong?" Vinnie says. I ignored him, but he grabbed my hand and asked me what's wrong. He turned me around and he could hear me crying, but I looked down to avoid seeing his face.

"There's blood on your dress, Tristan what happened?" He says. I moved the hat from my face and looked at him. His face looked shocked, he could see that I was crying.

"Bryce get over here right now!" he yells
"What!?" Bryce says
"Something happened to Tristan," Vinnie says

Bryce looks up at me, he quickly runs over to me.

"What happened!? Tristan who did this to you?" Bryce tries to yell over the loud music
"T-Travis," I say and I continued crying

"Travis was here!? I'm gonna kill him, where is he!" Bryce says
"I don't know, he left," I said

"Who is Travis? Who is he?" Vinnie says and more of our friends come over to ask what happened. Avani walks over to me and hugs me

"Travis is her abusive ex, he's fucking psychotic," Bryce says

"A guy did that to you?" Kio says
"Yeah," I say quietly

"I think we should take her to the hospital because it looks like her nose might be broken," Chase says
"Fuck!" Bryce yells

"Okay I'll drive, you guys can meet me at the hospital okay," Bryce says as I walk out with him, Vinnie, and Avani
