I had slept almost half the day away and surprisingly Ariana still hadn't returned. "Ugh," I groan beginning to get frustrated by just simply being here alone. It was bad that I was here alone but the fact that I was so far away from home in a big city that I did not know made it even worse than it was. "Fuck it," I mumbled heading to the kitchen to fix me something to eat. I would wait on Ariana a little more and if she didn't come soon then I would just go explore New York on my own.

By six p.m. I realized that I was sick of waiting and began getting dressed to head out. Once I had finally made it to the front of the building Ariana and her friends walked into the building causing me to groan quietly. I was annoyed on a whole different level and the last thing I wanted to do was deal with Ariana and her preppy ass friends. "Hey, I was just coming to get you and see if you were ready," Ariana spoke with a smile. "I'm fine, I think I'll go exploring on my own," I spoke slipping past her but for a tiny person, she was quick grabbing my arm to stop me from walking away. "You can't explore the city alone you don't know anyone here," Ariana spoke with a huff. "Exactly I don't know anyone here including the four of y'all. I've been alone all day I'm sure I can manage to be alone for the rest of the night," I spoke snatching my arm away from her and making my way out the door.

"I need a drink," I mumbled pulling out my phone and searching for the nearest bar. The streets were crowded and busy and there was little to no space, which had begun frustrating me even more than I already was. I began moving in the direction of the nearest bar, I hated New York already.

Smiling I walked into the bar and took a seat at the table. By the time I had ordered my food and a drink someone was sliding in the chair across from me. "I've never seen you around here before," The woman said with a smile causing me to smile shaking my head. "Just out trying to discover new places," I mumbled trying to watch the game that was playing behind her. "I can show you a few places around here that I'm sure that you'll enjoy," She spoke biting her lip causing me to chuckle shaking my head. "I'm sure you could but my girlfriend is a real killer, and I would hate for her to murder us and dump our bodies somewhere. I value my life, don't you?" The woman looks freaked out for a moment before nodding. "Was that a joke?" She asked causing me to shake my head these women are fearless. "Not a joke, I can vouch for her. Her girlfriend would murder you," I looked up seeing Victoria standing behind me causing me to groan. "And this is my babysitter so if I was you I would you know to skedaddle," I whispered causing the girl to quickly slide up from her chair and exit the bar completely.

"I'm not here to babysit you, I'm actually just here to make sure you are safe, and nothing happens to you," Victoria spoke sliding into the seat across from me. "So, to babysit me?" She rolled her eyes before waving the waitress over and ordering food as well. "How did you find me?" I asked curious causing her to shake her head. "Wasn't hard. Ariana let us know how you got yourself into this situation in the first place, so it was easy. I just figured you would go to the first bar close to the hotel and I was right," I groaned loudly. "Great so do all of you think that I'm just some irresponsible underage alcoholic?" I asked annoyed that not only did she know but the rest of Ariana's friend group.

"No one thinks that way about you. We all drink, and we all were drinking at your age. You aren't any different than any of us so there's no reason for judgment here," Victoria spoke with a shrug causing me to feel slightly better. "So how are you liking New York so far?" She asked changing the subject as we waited on our food. I simply shrugged my shoulders, "I hate it as of right now. Not the city itself I guess just being here. It's lonely, especially when you don't know anyone and the only person you do know leaves you trapped in a hotel room all day with the promise that she'd be back soon," I spoke rolling my eyes before looking at the television behind Victoria. "What do you mean Ariana finished looking for a condo earlier this morning and when we called to see if you two were out, yet she said you two were out having lunch," Victoria mumbled causing me to shrug.
