"Ariana left early this morning and the first time I saw her was when I ran into y'all while I was leaving."

Victoria hummed softly before sitting back and pulling her phone out. "After this why don't we go explore the city? I know it'll be getting dark soon, but New York City never sleeps," Victoria spoke causing me to shrug. "You don't have to I'm not tripping about it anymore," Victoria rolled her eyes at me. "We're going to explore the city tonight end of discussion."

I must admit Victoria wasn't what I was expecting. She was sweet and down to earth someone I could see myself being friends with. She was the definition of real, she didn't sugar coat anything, she was funny, and she knew how to keep a conversation going. The whole time we were together the smiles never left our faces and the laughter lasted all night.

After dinner, we had begun traveling around the city taking pictures and telling childhood stories. The only person that had made me comfortable and allowed me to truly be myself was Victoria and I appreciated every moment with her. "I have to admit it's been a good night, so thank you." Victoria smiled at me we walked towards the apartment with our arms linked with one another. "No problem, I know that sometimes it gets hard and it's good to at least have someone in your corner. So now you know you're not alone," Victoria spoke as we made our way inside.

"Go ahead inside I'm going to head to the studio," Victoria mumbled unlinking her arms with me. "You sure?" I asked causing the older girl to nod. I nodded bidding her goodbye and making my way towards the elevator. Although today was a shitty day, the night turned out to be pretty amazing.

"Hey," Ariana spoke as soon as I walked into the apartment pulling my coat off. "Hello," I mumbled sitting my coat on the back of the chair and making my way into the kitchen for some water. I could tell that something was eating her alive by the way that she fiddled with her fingers and nibbled at her lip. "What's up?" I asked with a sigh before bringing the glass to my lips. "I'm sorry about earlier, I shouldn't have left you here earlier by yourself. I knew it was your first time in the city and I told you that we were going to explore so I should've kept my word and been here for you. I knew that you didn't know anyone down here and I shouldn't have left you in here by yourself all day. That wasn't fair of me and I'm sorry," Ariana apologized standing on the other side of the counter causing me to shrug. "It's okay, I was pretty pissed earlier today but it's fine. I don't know what I expected to happen but it's okay. I know we're just here for business so if you want to go out and have fun and then come get me when we're needed to be seen then that's okay with me. The sooner I learn my place the easier it'll get for me," I spoke before grabbing my glass and walking out of the kitchen. "It's not like that Y/N," Ariana spoke walking down the hallway towards my room behind me. "We're going to be around each other a lot more than we both realize and the sooner I start accepting that and learn that for the next four or five years that you're going to be my partner the least I can do is start treating you like one," Ariana spoke as she moved passed me into the bedroom taking a seat at the top of the bed and pulling her legs under her. Ariana got comfortable before patting the spot beside her causing me to sigh sitting the glass of water on the nightstand before taking a seat next to her. "It's not going to be easy, especially when we officially come out. Things are going to be rushed, we're going to be pushed to be out together every day, our private lives will be non-existent, and we're going to be busy. You're going to have to learn how to juggle being with me, traveling, schoolwork, and meeting new people at every stop. It's not going to be easy, and it probably won't get any easier throughout the years that we are together," I listened silently allowing Ariana to continue her rant as she cuddled comfortably into my side.

"I have a lot of baggage and I'm not the easiest person to deal with but if you're willing to try then so am I," Ariana spoke looking up at me. I sat quietly contemplating.

I knew she had a point we'd be with each other for the next five years of our life there was no denying that. But I knew Ariana's dating history maybe not from herself but the media and I knew she got bored easily but so did I. "If you'll try then so, will I," I spoke with a nod the only thing that I could do was try.

As soon as those words left my lips Ariana connected hers with mine. I was taken back by what was happening but that didn't mean I didn't kiss her back. Of course, my phone had to ring and ruin a good thing. "Ignore it," Ariana mumbled against my lips, but I knew that ringtone all too well and I knew that I couldn't ignore the call. "I can't," I spoke pulling away and grabbing my phone. "Eiza," I answered breathlessly as I stood up running my hand through my hair. "Where are you Y/N? You know we were supposed to go see that movie today," Eiza spoke causing me to sigh. "It slipped my mind, I'm sorry. I'm actually out of town right now on a trip or well business trip," I mumbled knowing that Ariana was laying in the bed behind me most likely listening. "Business trip huh? Or are you on a date?" Eliza spoke causing me to shake my head. "No, I'm out. But I'll make it up to you I swear," Eiza huffed on the other end of the line causing me to smile knowing that she was going to forgive me. "Alright, but you really need to stop bailing on me. I know that we aren't together anymore but you know how I feel about you so I wish you would just consider my feelings sometimes," Eiza spoke causing me to nod understanding. "I'll work on it, but I have to go. I'll see you whenever I get back." Hanging up the phone I turned back towards the bed seeing Ariana leaning against the headboard with her arms crossed.

"Girlfriend?" She asked causing me to shake my head sitting the phone on the nightstand. "Friend," I spoke taking a seat at the end of the bed. "Business trip?" She asked tilting her head causing me to grin tilting my head along with her. "What would you like me to tell her. That I'm on a trip with Ariana Grande pretending to be her girlfriend?" I asked causing the older woman to roll her eyes at me her attitude starting to show. "Oh, that you're just out with your girlfriend."

"Maybe when we get to that point," I spoke causing her to roll her eyes getting ready to get out of the bed. I laughed tackling her softly in the bed and laying on top of her. "Calm down, don't be angry. Talk to me," I mumbled against her cheek. I felt her squirming under me before she finally gave up, "I'm not angry but annoyed."

"Why are you annoyed?" I asked looking at her causing her to look at me rolling her eyes. "Because you can make me angry," This had to be the most confusing woman I've ever dealt with. I raised my eyebrow at her letting her know that I was confused causing her to huff, "We aren't together yet and we haven't known each other long enough to develop feelings for one another, but I know that you are my partner for the time being. I get jealous and I can't help it," I nodded listening to her understanding of where she was coming from. "That just means you're going to have to learn how to communicate with me," I mumbled causing her to huff. "We'll see."

"How did the condo hunting go? Find anything?" I asked still lying comfortably on top of her. "I did actually, it's not too far from here. The guy that showed me the place was nice and tomorrow we'll meet up so I can sign the paperwork," With the way Ariana squirmed under me I could tell something was up but I didn't understand what. I knew I wouldn't question her because honestly, it was none of my business. So I gently rolled off of her and stood up removing my shirt and making my way towards the dresser, "What are you doing?" Looking over my shoulder I saw Ariana watching me with her bottom lip trapped between her teeth. "Grabbing some clothes to shower, I've been all over New York I think it's best I take a shower," I spoke with a grin before throwing my shirt at her and heading towards the bathroom.
"Goodnight Ms.Grande."
