Double Agent (Fem Reader X Tony Stark)

Chapter 14 - New York

"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or your turn it to ash." Steve points.

"Wanna give me a lift?"

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." Tony grabs him and flies off

"Thor, you've gotta try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You've got the lightning. Light the bastards up." Thor nods and flies off. Steve turns to Nat and I. "Us three, we stay here on the ground, keep the fighting here. And Hulk....Smash." Hulk jumps off.

I turn and start to shoot as a bunch of aliens land beside us, this fight was starting to drag on and on, endless fighting that was going nowhere.

"Captain, none of this is gonna mean a damn thing if we don't close that portal." I sigh.

"Our biggest guns couldn't touch it."

"Well, maybe it's not about guns." Nat gestures up towards the Tower.

"You wanna get up there, you're gonna need a ride."

"I got a ride. I could use a lift though." Nat nods, backing up as Steve angles his shield.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah. It's gonna be fun." Nat sighs.

She runs and jumps up onto Steve's shield, he lifts her up high enough to jump onto a Chariot. "Steve!" I jump behind him and kick an alien back. I hold up my pistols and shoot as hurls his shield. I look up as Loki flies on a chariot above us. "I need to get up there!"

"Hurry." He backs away and I toss a knife into an aliens head. I run up and leap onto his shield, jumping up and catching a chariot. I pull off the alien in the back and pull out two knives, sticking it in the drivers back and taking control.

"There you are." I smile as I follow Loki. I watch him as we fly  around the tower as Clint shoots an arrow, Loki catches it and it explodes.

I leap off of my chariot and roll onto Stark Tower. I run up and kick Loki inside, he looks up at me and smirks. "What are you gonna do, little girl?"

"You killed someone who was very close to me...I'm gonna make sure you pay." I spin and kick his face. Loki jumps up, grabbing a small knife and lunging for me.

I back flip away from his strikes, then leaping back towards him and kicking the knife out of his hand. I flip up onto his shoulders and lean back, slamming him onto the ground as Hulk jumps in and kicks him back farther.

"ENOUGH! YOU ARE, ALL OF YOU ARE BENEATH ME! I AM A GOD, YOU DULL CREATURES, AND I WILL NOT BE BULLIED..." Suddenly Hulk grabs Loki by his legs and smashes him back and forth against the ground. After another round, Hulk slams him one last time and turns to me.

"Puny God."

I walk with him and hold my hand up, he looks at me confused and holds his huge hand up as I high five him. "Good job. Can I have some help getting back down?"

Hulk grabs me and picks me up, I scream as he leaps off, jumping onto another building and eventually landing down. He tosses me off and leaps off to another building.

I run over to Steve and kill an alien behind him. "I can close it! Can anybody hear me? I can shut the portal down!" Nat yells.

"Do it!"

"No, wait!" Tony stops her.

"Stark, these things are still coming!"

"I got a nuke coming in, it's gonna blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it." Tony says.

"Stark, you know that's a one-way trip?"

"Tony please...don't do this!" I scream as I look up to see him flying towards the portal.

He disappears in the portal. "Y/N....I-I-"

"Tony?" I couldn't hear him anymore. "Tony?!" I scream. Suddenly all the aliens shake and fall down all around us.

"Close it." Steve sighs.

"What? No! Don't close it!" I yell. Thor grabs me and pulls me back, holding me in his arms as I cry, seeing the portal start to close.

I look back up as I see Tony fall through the portal. "Son of a gun!" Steve smiles.

"He's not slowing down." Thor yells.

We look up as Hulk grabs him and crashes down in front of us, throwing Tony to the side. "Tony!" I run over and sit beside him as I roll him over on his back. I throw off his face plate to see he was unconscious. "No...no no no!" I cry.

Hulk suddenly roars, causing Tony to scream and wake up. "What the hell? What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me?"

"We won....I thought I lost you." I cry and hug onto him.

"I'm so sorry...I shouldn't of been mad. I just hate being apart from you." Tony sits up and holds onto me.

"Tony I never agreed with that plan. Nick knew my feelings about it."

"Move in with me." He suddenly says.

"What?"

"Move in with me. I know it's still gonna be hard but...I want to be with you all the time. I want to wake up every morning to you beside me." He smiles.

"Yes...I'll move in with you." I kiss him.

Tony pulls back and chuckles as he looks at the others. "Alright. Hey. Alright. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I wanna try it. Let's celebrate." He nods, not letting me go.

"We're not finished yet." Thor looks up.

"And then shawarma after." Tony smirks down at me.

We captured Loki, all of us splitting up to go on with our lives.

But we knew that if we were needed....the Avengers would come back together.
