Double Agent (Fem Reader X Tony Stark)

I stare down as my ring as I sit in the Jet, rubbing my finger across it as I think of Tony.

"He'll be okay." Nat sits beside me. She holds onto my hand and stares at my ring. "Damn...Stark did good." She smiles. "How was the wedding?"

"We got married at the courthouse....didn't feel right having a wedding when you guys couldn't be there." I sigh. Nat pulls me in her arms, I rest my head against her shoulder and close my eyes. "We were talking about starting a family....now...now I don't know if that's gonna happen."

"Yes it will. He will come home...he will be okay." Nat nods. I sit up as the Jet lands, "Come on." She smiles, wrapping her arm around me as the ramp opens. I lean down and grab my new weapon and it's holster, putting it on my back. Tony had designed me new batons that can turn into swords by a click of a button.

"Should we bow?" Bruce asks Rhodey.

"Yeah, he's a king."

"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." Steve shakes T'Challa's hand.

"The Romanoff sisters." T'Challa smiles, shaking Nat's hand.

He turns and shakes my hand. "Well, it's Stark now. But sorry for electrocuting you." I nod.

"No hard feelings." He smiles.

I look back as Bruce bows. "What are you doing?" Rhodey asks in shock.

"Uh, we don't do that here." T'Challa dissuades him with a motion of his hand. "So how big of an assault can we expect?"

Bruce steps up as we walk towards the large building. "Uh, sir, I think you can expect quite a big assault."

"How we looking?" Steve asks.

"You will have my King's Guard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and..."

"A semi-stable, 100-year-old man." Steve's friend Bucky Barnes smiles.

"How you been, Buck?"

"Uh, not bad, for the end of the world." Barnes smiles.

I walk over to him and hold my hand out. "Y/N Stark."

"S-Stark?" Barnes hesitantly shakes my hand.

Tony told me what happened between the three of them...but I knew Barnes was brainwashed and tortured. I knew he didn't have a choice. I smile and walk past him, following the group inside and into a lab where Vision lays down and Shuri scans the stone, and studies the hologram.

"Whoa. The structure is polymorphic."

"Right, we had to attach each neuron non-sequentially." Bruce nods.

"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?"

We all look at Bruce, "Because, we didn't think of it..."

Shuri smiles. "I'm sure you did your best."

"Can you do it?" Wanda asks.

"Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures." She turns to T'Challa. "It will take time, brother."

"How long?"

"As long as you can give me." She nods.

Okoye looks down, "Something's entered the atmosphere."

We look outside to see a ship crashing into the shield, many other ships land around the dome. Vision sits up, "It's too late. We need to destroy the stone now."
