Kol pushed a stray branch out of his way, pushing himself through the dense forest. He emerged into an open clearing. The clearing was wide and open, a ring of trees surrounding it.
"Well, this isn't what I was expecting". Davina commented, scanning the field of grass around her.
"Yes," Kol agreed, "But this is where Hayley asked us to meet her". Davina merely hummed in nonsensical agreement.
"How even did Hayley find this is the short time she was in New Orleans?" Davina wondered, looking at the clearing.
"I didn't, Eve did" Hayley answered, appearing in front of them. Following her was a young, blonde woman who Kol guessed was Eve.
"I have lived in these woods since I was a tiny babe. I know this forest like the back of my hand." Eve claimed, waving her hand in front of her, "Now, Hayley tells me that you know how to free my pack from its curse."
"Yes, I do" Kol agreed, turning to smile sharply at the untriggered werewolf, "I know how to free your pack from its terrible curse. All in exchange for three tiny favours".
"What favours?" Eve asked, narrowing her eyes suspiciously. Kol shrugged in response.
"Any three things which I would like the wolves to do. As long as it is in their ability, they would have to do it." Kol drawled, "So, do we have a deal?." Eve faced him hesitantly for a moment, before nodding."
"We have a deal...?" Eve asked, voice trailing off.
"Kaleb, Kaleb Micheals" Kol offered, deciding to go by the name he had given Hayley.
"So, Kaleb" Davina asked, narrowing her eyes at said original, "Can we please start. I want to go back to my room, lie down in my warm, warm bed and pretend I never met you." Kol laughed, before gesturing for Eve to lead the way.
TIME SKIP (THESE ARE GOD)
Kol placed some items in front of Davina, then speeded behind her to place his hands on her shoulder. The spell he needed her to do was pretty simple but needed a lot of magic to perform. It was basically a very powerful unlinking spell, distributed over the entire pack.
"This is a very simple spell, it just needs a lot of magic." Kol explained, "All you need to do is repeat this spell over and over. Say it with me."
"Praevaricator Nexum Et Covertam a Bestia ad Hominem," Kol told her slowly. Davina repeated it uncertainly, with a little bit of Kol's help. Kol made Davina repeat it again and again until she memorized the line. Kol then gave her a bundled up rope. Placing it in her hands, he led her to the middle of a pentagram, already drawn on the floor. Then Davina closed her eyes, held the rope in front of her and started chanting.
"Praevaricator Nexum Et Covertam a Bestia ad Hominem" Davina recited, as the room started to shake.
"Praevaricator Nexum Et Covertam a Bestia ad Hominem"
"Praevaricator Nexum Et Covertam a Bestia ad Hominem" Davina screamed stubbornly, blood running down her nose. Suddenly, the spell finished in a bright flash of light. Davina swayed dangerously on her feet. Seeing her condition, Kol immediately sped behind her to carefully catch her.
"Did I do it?" She asked tired, bright blue shining from long, black eyelashes.
"Yes darling," Kol told her, smiling gently at her. He lightly put her down before turning to face the results. Blinking, Kol took a double-take at the now-human werewolves around him. Well, he must have missed the transformation, given that he didn't notice any cracking bones.
"Thank you for that" A man thanks, approaching the original
"No problem," Kol replied, "I know how to pick my allies."
"Jackson Kenner" Jackson offered, extending his hand.
"Kaleb Micheals" Kol introduced, taking and shaking his hand.
"Eve told me about the deal. Any three favours you would like are yours" Jackson told him graciously. Kol merely dipped his head in gratitude. Then, he speeded towards the unconscious form of his darling witch. Picking her up, he tilted his head in farewell before speeding away.
Reaching the church, he gently put her on top of the bed. Pushing a stray strand of hair out of her face, he stood up and flashed away.
TIME SKIP
"I would like to see Marcel" Kol announced to the two guards standing sentinel in front of the Abattoir. Both guards took one look at him, snorted before turning away.
"Go away, little boy. Marcel is not going to meet someone like you" One of the guards ridiculed.
"Oh I am sorry," Kol apologized, feigning an offended expression, "Did you think I was asking?" Kol quickly speeded towards one of the guards and before he could even comprehend what was happening, the guard lost his heart. Dropping the still-beating organ in front of the terrified second guard, Kol smirked menacingly.
"Take me to Marcel." He ordered, giving the guard a saccharine sweet smile. The guard nodded rapidly, before gesturing for Kol to follow him. Baby vamps. How bloody cute.
"Marcel," The guard called, "Someone wishes to meet you."
"Well, well. Tell me which unlucky human decided to test me today." Marcel mused, appearing in front of him.
"I am wounded, Marcellus. You don't recognize me?" Kol mocked, placing his hand over his heart, "Here I was thinking that we had something special."
"Kol." The self-proclaimed King of the Quarter uttered, tensing.
"Hello Marcel, it is such a lovely day today, isn't it. A lovely day to make a deal." Kol purred.
"I will never make a deal with you." The wanker spat out, glaring furiously at him.
"Really? Then you don't want to hear about a certain ritual happing tomorrow?" Kol asked, amused.
"I don't want to hear anything about you or from you-" Marcel replied furiously.
"I am sorry. Let me rephrase my sentence" Kol interrupted with a certain mischievous smirk adorning his face.
"The Harvest is happening tomorrow."
