Still falling for you

AMELIA'S POV
"No, you don't have to go," Owen said.
"I don't know," I said.
" excuse me ?" he said, "Are you really thinking about going to see him?" he asked.
"Yes, I think I'll go. I need to see him again," I said.
"Need to see him again? Seriously I hate the idea of my wife going to jail even for a few minutes it's dangerous Amelia damn it ! " he said
"I need to go there to get over him and I have questions" I said
" Get over him? You're serious so you're going to tell me you still have feelings for this bastard " he said
"I never said that, listen Owen" I said but he cut me off
"I understand very well" he said "deep down you still have feelings for another man while your are married with ME " he said
"Stop yelling because you're talking nonsense, I love you Owen and I've always loved you if I go there it's because I want to know why that's all! I hate Link with every part of my body," I said.
"You know what I...I don't know what to think anymore" he said and got dressed
"I don't believe in that shit" he said and left the room
"Owen, where the fuck are you going?" I asked as I followed him down the stairs.
"I'm going to work I don't want to be here today" he said and within seconds he was gone

"What's going on?" Addison asked and I burst into tears
"Amelia, baby come here" she said and took me in her arms
"I heard...what happened ?" Charlotte asked as she entered the room in turn.
"I got an email this morning from my lawyer saying that Link had applied to get out of jail and that he had also applied to see me"
"And I want to go so Owen didn't understand why ? he misunderstood my words and now he's gone" I said "I just want to go see him so he can answer my questions and also so I can get over that"
"This is a shitty idea" charlotte said "I can understand Owen being misunderstood...it's confusing"
"Charlotte!" Addison said, "Explain it well, Amelia."
"If I want to go it's because I want to know why? Why he hit me and wanted me dead, that's all" I said.
"Ok and Owen will come back Amelia I know him now and now he needs to think about it but tonight he will come back you will see" Addison said
"Thank you Addie" I said
"You are my sister Amelia you don't need to thank me" she said and hugged me

It was now almost dinner time. It had been a long day without talking to Owen, then I heard the front door open and Owen appeared.
"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have yelled and let you alone I love you more than anything Amelia and that's why I reacted like that it's because I'm afraid of losing you" he said and I walked over and kissed him passionately
"I'll take you to the prison tomorrow evening " he said
"Thanks babe I love you you know that right?" I asked
"Yes I'm sorry about this morning" he said
"Don't worry honey...I love you" I said and kissed him again
"I love you too" he said and hugged me
"Oh the lovebirds are back" Jake said
"Shut up" Owen and I said

the next day
"Are you ready?" Owen asked me.
"Yes, let's go" I said the kids were being watched by my friends from LA while Owen and I went to the prison
" we are here" Owen said in front of the jail, "I'll be right here waiting for you"
"Thanks" I said, getting out of the car and walking into the jail.

"Oh it's good to see you Amelia!" link said "still as hot as ever"
"That's obviously not you" I said "but you wanted to see me so what do you want"
"Well I'd like to hear from my son it's been a long time how is my little Scout" link said
"Don't you dare do that...he's not your son anymore and never has been and never will be he doesn't even know you exist" I said firmly
"oh and how is the single life of a mother of one boy since the other you were not able to keep alive" he said
"Don't try to hurt me link it won't work, unlike you after this I'm free" I said "and I'm not single anymore"
"If I'm here it's not because you asked me but it's to know why we did that to me ?" I asked
"You want to know why?" link chuckled "even I don't know but it was kind of funny...you pissed me off that day and I didn't think you were that weak a little tap doesn't hurt anyone and you needed it" he said
"A little tap? You almost killed me" I said
"If your two sisters hadn't come home I would have even raped you I know how much it hurts and ruin life so I wanted to try it on you" he said
"You're completely insane" I said
"no I'm not mentally ill and I can't wait to get out of here so I can see MY son and I'll take him with me and you'll never see him again" he said
"You're not his father, but he has the best dad a kid could ask for and he's happy, very happy" I said
"Who is he?" he asked
"I came to get answers to my questions and I have them now so I have nothing more to say to you, you have no right to know my life and you won't" I said and stood up "some things you don't know is that this conversation was recorded and after what you just said you are far from getting out of jail, and I hope I never see you again" I said leaving the jail and joining Owen outside

"Hey!" Owen said.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"It's not my fault" I said and my voice started to break and my eyes filled with tears.
"What honey?" Owen asked.
"If he did this to me it's not my fault or because I deserved it" I said and burst into tears and so Owen immediately hugged me
"He's the one who's crazy, not me" I added and cried even more.
"Shhh everything is fine I'm here" he said and kissed my head
"I didn't do anything wrong" I said and cried even more and Owen lifted my chin to force me to look at him
"Look at me, look at me babe, you didn't do anything wrong it's him not you" he said "I'm here love and I'll be here forever I won't let you go and I love you more than anything in the world" he added and kissed me
"Thank you, thank you for being you and loving me the way you do" I said
"I love you" he said
"I love you more" I said "Can we go home? To see our kids" I asked
"Sure babe let's go" he said

And then we went home my life may not have been easy and not always beautiful and perfect but I love my life now I have the most wonderful children in the world and a perfect husband. The visit with Link had shaken me up a bit but now that I was reunited with my family everything was forgotten and I was happy again.
"Mom?" Leo asked.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Can we watch an episode of modern family together?" he said and that made me smile...it was our little family tradition every night to watch an episode of this show we loved
"Of course go get your brothers and sister" I said he left and turned around
"What?" I asked.
"Go get Riley, she has to watch it too" he said and I went to get Riley from his room
"Hey babygirl! It's time for you to see your first episode" I said and kissed her little cheek and we went downstairs where all the rest of my family was waiting for us
"Come here mama" Liam said
"Mama!" Ava said and snuggled up to me and so did Leo and as usual Liam and Olivia were snuggled up to Owen they were really their daddy's kids
"I love you guys," I said.
"We love you too" they said and Owen kissed me.
God I never thought I would have a family like this one day and I am so proud and happy to have a family like this,they were the people I loved the most in the world and I couldn't be happier
