Curse of agony (Completed)?? [Vampire]

I frowned at his words and gave a confused look, making sure that my heartbeat remains calm. I know he's in investigation and he is trying to test my limits. Me panicking would only confirm his suspicions.

"Why?" I wrote down on the sand.

"Why do I think you are not a human?" he asked me.

I nodded my head frantically. God, I am terrible at acting casual.

"It's because, your eyes, they look like my mother's, she reminds me of you."

Oh, I never expected it but a lot of people have similar eyes, one cannot tell it just by looking at one's eyes.

"You look a lot like your mother," he looked at me with a high intensity making me shiver at his looks.

Again, I glared at him frowning. My face is fully covered, how can he say that I look like his mother?

"I have an ability to look beyond, I can see your face behind your cloth."

Oh god, does that mean he can see the tattoo in my neck?

My eyes widened in panic and my heart beat raised drastically.

"Hey, calm down, I am not a pervert. I have to concentrate to look beyond and I can assure you I haven't seen beyond your chin."

Thank goodness, he didn't see the tattoo.

"Anyways, the reason I came here was to ask whether this has happened before."

I shook my head; this was the first time and I want it to be last too.

"Okay, if someone tries to do anything try to press this button, it'll send me your location to me." He handed me a wrist band which looked all black with a screen and a button.

What? Why do I need his protection? I can protect myself.

I shook my head and started walking back to the palace.

"Hey, I didn't mean it in a bad way. I was meaning to help," he catches up to me.

I kept walking instead of replying to him.

"Fine, if you don't want to keep this it's okay. But if you need any help, feel free to come to the investigation office. This is my card," he shoved it my hand and left.

I crushed the card and kept in my pocket to throw it in the dustbin. I don't trust vampires and more over I have to stay away from him. If he looks beyond, he can see my mark. It is very dangerous to have him around.

I came back to Aurora's room. Every room in this palace is like a mini house where you have two bedrooms, one living room and a kitchen. Not to forget the beautiful balcony.

I stay in the extra bedroom of Aurora's room. It was small and comfortable for a single person and it's way safer than the servant quarters. No one can come inside her room without permission, letting me have an immense amount of privacy.
