After Luke and I had awkwardly crawled out of each other's arms, Alex and Reggie poofed back into the studio. "I'm sorry for your loss," Alex said sympathetically. I smiled lightly at him, as we all went in for a group hug.
Julie walked back into the studio, Carlos nowhere to be seen. "We have to tell Carlos something. We can't tell him about you guys. But I just don't know why he can only see y/n" Julie told us. "But we have to tell someone. I mean if Carlos can see us, can more people see us? I asked worried, "Well, whatever happens, we need somewhere to stay, "Luke butted in.
Julie huffed out of the studio again, "Look, I'm sorry for what happened to you guys, but this isn't your studio anymore, you have to leave,"
Confused as to what happened, the boys decided to go and explore the house. As they walked inside, I went and sat at the piano, playing a new song that Rose and I started working on. It was a song symbolising our friendship. As I got halfway into the song, the boys poofed in and started looking around the studio, again. "All our instruments are still here?" Alex yelled from the loft, "Bring 'em all down, let's play a song," I said, excitedly
It didn't take long to set up our instruments and start playing again before Julie angrily walked back inside the studio.
Just as we were finishing the song, Julie came stamping into the studio. "GUYS! GUYS! STOP! ENOUGH! CUT IT OUT!" She screamed. Reggie and I stopped playing, Luke finished his riff, and Alex finished everything with a beat on the snare drum.
"The whole neighbourhood could hear you, I thought I told you to leave?" Julie whisper-yelled at us. "wait, p-people can hear us play?" Luke asked getting excited. "Yes, and so did my dad AND my brother!" "Wait! So only, you can see us, but everyone can hear us, and y/n can be seen by everyone? I mean what kind of ghosts are we?" Alex asked confusedly, getting Luke hyped up. "Who cares man? People can hear us play!" Luke fist-bumped us all. "We might be dead, but our music isn't!" Reggie finished.
At that moment, Julie's dad walked into the studio, "Hey Julie, who's the friend?" He asked "Hi, sir, I'm y/n," I said stepping forward "Cool, I'm Ray," He answered, shaking my hand, but he looked puzzled. "Wait, did you say y/n?" "Yeah, i- uh," I said confused, but Julie interfered. "This, is y/n, she was Mom's best friend" Julie answered for me, I was a little worried about how he would take to that.
"Huh? No, that can't be, you died the night of your big performance. That's impossible" Julie's dad seemed very confused. "Uh- actually, sir, that is me, and I did die, but I came back as a ghost" I tried to explain. "Why don't we come inside and talk about this over a cup of tea?" Julie asked.
"I still can't believe it" Mr Molina, whose name I learned to be Ray, was bewildered. Julie and I tried to explain in as much detail as possible what was happening. Luke, Alex and Reggie sat around the table listening to our conversation, filling in details that I had missed, while myself, Julie and Ray stood around the kitchen talking about, this... situation. Ray was kind enough to ask if I wanted to stay in their guest bedroom and go to school with Julie and I accepted.
As we all walked back into the garage, Ray took a look at all the instruments. "Is this the junk that was in the loft?" "JUNK?" Luke and I said at the same time. Ray walked around to the drums, tapping them with his fingers and I tried not to laugh at the disgusted look on Alex's face. "Some of the stuff is in pretty good shape. Maybe we could make a couple of bucks out of these?" Ray asked looking at Julie, who looked at me, who looked sad and confused. "Yo, stop touching my- tell him to stop touching my drums" Alex glared and Julie and me. "Well, uh actually," I started "These are the instruments that I used in my band, before the accident. Um, I was hoping, if it's alright with you guys, that we could keep everything??" I carefully asked, "uh, yeah sure. hey if any of you need anything, just ask" Julie and I politely nodded.
Julie walked back inside, I grabbed the guys' hands and teleported them on top of the Orpheum. "Ok look," I started fidgeting with my hands, "I know being dead isn't our first choice, but it sure is easy getting around," "Easy for you maybe," Reggie pouts, "I lost my shirt on that one. His shirt poofs back on his body not a second later, "oh wait, there it is, "He smiles. "Ok, so why'd you bring us here, y/n?" Luke asks, reaching for my hand to stop my fidgeting, I looked at him and smiled. "Just another painful reminder of where we never got to play," Alex says touching my shoulder, "Thanks y/n" "I mean guys, the game isn't over yet," I say, poofing us down to the ground. "y/n's right. This is like our second chance," Luke said, smiling at me, and looking at Reggie and Alex "Let's find some music. Let's see how many clubs we can hit before sunrise," Luke yells, still holding my hand, causing me to run ahead with him. "Hey, Alex, you coming, "I called, turning around to see Alex standing there.
Back home, Julie showed me around the house, telling me where each room was incase I needed something. "Here is your room," She said, opening the door to a large room. In the middle of the room was a large double bed, with a grey duvet, and soft pink throw pillows over the top. A light grey throwblanket sat ontop. There were two large french doors that opened up to a small balcony. In the corner of the room was a white fluffy hanging chair, with fairly lights wrapped around. "Theres an attached bathroom, so you don't have to share with us," Julie explained, "Thank you, for everything, " I said, "This....This is just too weird," She smiled and walked off. I walked further into the room, looking around.
The next morning was my first day of school. I was nervous but excited. I wasn't worried about getting lost because Julie goes to the same school I went to, where I met Rose and the band. Julie knocked on my door, and walked inside, "Hey y/n, did you sleep well?" She asked politely. "yeah I did. Hey do you have any old clothes I could borrow, I need a change of clothes," I asked, "Yeah sure, give me a sec," Julie replied before walking off into her room. She returned a minute late with two large garbage bags in her hands, full of her clothes. "You can find something in there, I think there may be some shoes as well." She said, "Thanks," I smiled.
After 10 minutes of searching through the bag, I decided to wear a pair of blue jeans with a white top and a mustard yellow plaid overshirt. I paired it with a necklace, a belt and my air force ones.

As I was getting changed, I heard the faint sound of a girl playing the piano and singing. I walked into Julie's room to see a neatly made bed, but no one was in there. I walked down stairs saying hello to Carlos and Ray, and walked down to the studio. I peaked through the glass windows on the studio doors, to see Julie, tears rolling down her cheeks, at the piano and the boys standing behind her.
