Pain. Unending pain. Countless nerve synapses were flaring the alarm bells as Izuku was pulled back in time, the other two's spirits tightly held in his spirits grasp. Piece by piece, Izuku and the others' original bodies were atomized. The painfully slow process felt hours long, even though it had only taken five minutes total. Only thanks to his insane pain resistance was Izuku able to hold onto a semblance of consciousness. A swirl of color passed by, signifying the first of many events that Izuku needed to pass to arrive at the planned point. His ghostly brow furrowed, and he thought back on what the shodai had told him seconds before he was pulled into the vortex.

"Izuku, listen to me." The pale figure had stood in front of the slowly disintegrating hero. "We're sending you back to the day after the sports festival. Since neither Uraraka nor Bakugo had held OFA at that point, we will need you to hang on to their current spirits. if you can manage to get them alone, the other vestiges and myself will help give them back the memories and strength."
Izuku nodded, no longer trusting his clenched jaw to make any noise but a scream. 'Ochako will be then, but what about Kat? He was barely able to open up at the end of our third year, not to mention this will be the first! I'll need a plan.' The first smiled, and waved to Izuku as he faded.
"Trust me, Izuku. Things will be better this go-around."

With a sharp gasp, Izuku's eyes fluttered open. He shot up, instinctively getting into a combat position and scanning the room. Upon seeing his old dorm room, he released the breath he didn't know he had been holding. The breath shook near the end, hinting at the turmoil of emotions being kept under the calm front he was putting up. Tears formed and fell from his eyes.
"It really worked," a near silent whisper slipped out of his mouth. A large grin stretched across his face as he leaned against his wall. Shaking his head to clear away the haze of emotions, Izuku pushed off the wall he fell back on, and walked towards the entrée of his room. However, about three steps in he stumbled, not yet used to the lack of nearly 38 centimeters of height. During the war he had managed to sprout up to around 204 cm in height, or close to 6'8". To go from that back to 166 was dissimilar from what he was used to.
The resounding thump of his body hitting the ground sounded throughout the Heights Alliance. Ochako lifted her head from where she was relaxing on the couch. "What was that?" Tsu looked around, before settling in on the general direction of the noise. "Probably something falling, kero. It sounded like it came from Midoriya-chan's room." Ochako jumped up at that, a slight look of worry on her face. "I-I should go check on him! He could be hurt!" Tsu just looked at her and nodded, before turning back to the book she was reading.

A quiet knock resounded into the room. "Deku-kun, are you in there? I heard a thump and wanted to make sure everything is alright." Izuku's eyes widened, watering a bit. He wiped away the brimming tears and steadied himself. "Yes, I'm in here. Just dropped something I might need a little help with later." A slight shuffle near the door let Izuku know she was still there. "Alright," she said. "I just wanted to make sure you were ok. See you later, Deku-kun!" He smiled and pushed himself off the bed, making steady steps towards the door. In just a few seconds, he managed to adapt to his smaller stature and open the door.
She was stood directly out his door, a small blush on her face while looking at him. 'Damn, how did I not notice she had a crush on me?' He forced himself to blush slightly as he fake-stumbled back because of how close they were. "Hello Ur-uraraka-chan." She also stumbled a bit back and nodded, dashing off to hide her growing blush.
'Well that's a new reaction... why would she...' Izuku's thoughts tapered off as he looked as his torso and realized he was shirtless. "Oh. No wonder." He stood back up, wandering closer to his closet and grabbing one of his 'Shirt' T-shirts. He threw it on and walked out to the common room.
Upon his entry, he noticed just how empty the parlor looked. "Hey, Uraraka-chan?" Said girl peeked her head up from the couch. "Yes, Deku-kun?" Izuku looked around. "Where is everyone?" Ochako looked up in thought. "I'm pretty sure they're all finishing up decorating their room, why?" Izuku's eyes widened slightly, just enough that Ochako didn't notice. 'Shit! I'm three weeks too early!' He cussed under his breath before turning his attention back to Ochako. "Just wondering. Hey, do you mind helping me fix up something that fell over in my room? I need some help lifting it." A small smile spread across Ochako's face. "Sure!" Izuku signaled for her to follow him, and walked back up the stairs.

"So, what is sit you need help with, Deku-kun?" Izuku points over to the bookshelf/desk that he purposely tipped over for this reason. Ochako's eyes flicked to the downed Sauder shelf and nodded. After the two had set the desk back up, Izuku clasped his hands around hers, causing her to blush, in a mimicked gesture of gratitude. Internally however: 'Ok, I'm in contact with her.'
The shadowy vestiges nod, and grab one of the two hibernating souls out of the mental containment they were in. Sending OFA coursing through Izuku's body, they created a path for the soul to transfer to it's original owner.
Izuku's veins glowed a deep red, startling Ochako. She looked into the steeled eyes of Izuku. "Deku...kun..?" A sudden pain shot through her body and she flopped to the floor. Luckily, Izuku was holding her and managed to lower her down gently. All of a sudden, her body spasmed and she opened her mouth wide, a scream bubbling at the back of her throat. He clamped a hand over her mouth, blocking the sound from slipping out and leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Don't worry, it'll all be fine soon. I'm not purposely hurting you." The whisper did little to ease her fear. Her shoulders tightened, thrashing against Izuku's grasp to try and break out. 'Why... why is he doing this?'
Her mind scrambled to find an answer, when suddenly it all came rushing back. AFO, OFA, the Meta Liberation Army, the War, Time Travel. It all hit her in an instant. The sudden influx of knowledge and memories knocked her out, only to have her roused from the slumber a few minutes later. A frightened Izuku stood over her, gently shaking her to make sure she was alive. "Izu?" She squinted, getting adjusted to the sunlight filtering through the blinds.
A tearful smile spread across Izuku's face. She was back.
