(The Last Chapter)

Everything reminds you of him. Sometimes you thought you're not fine, that you're lonely, but the truth is that thinking about him doesn't exactly make you unhappy, just partly. You're just simply keeping all those blissful memories that you spent with him in this lifetime, it might be a tragic story to tell, but it's still beautiful.

You sat down at the sand, facing the seashore, the sea seems to be calm today. This is where you celebrate the last birthday that you had with him, watching the sunset, the coldness of the wind gently blew the bareness of your skin along with some strands of your hair. Your arms leaning back against the sand, legs laying straight to the front, fiddling your feet together.

"Hey, Keisuke," you uttered, almost a whisper. "Don't worry, I don't need anything," you chuckled. "If you can hear me, then I have something to tell you that I haven't told you yet," you paused, biting your bottom lip, before you let out a heavy sigh.

"I love you," you murmured as your tears escaped.

Those three words that you wish you could have just said when he was still with you, you wouldn't been regretting it this much if you could have done that before, it could have at least reach him.

You wiped your tears, chuckling. "I'm sorry, I guess I'm still a cry baby up until today, what can I do? I miss you, you idiot," you found yourself laughing at all those stupid faces that he made in your head. "I don't want to feel sad, just because I don't want you to feel the same way as I do, I also know that you wouldn't want me to," you sighed, staring at the sea in front. "I made a lot of friends now, but most of them was yours, I have a stable career, own home, though I'm not yet fully happy, but I'm trying," you told him.

"You don't have to worry about me, I can now laugh without faking it, that's a progress at least," you smiled. "I don't cry that often anymore, though I'm still missing you," you gasped.

Every morning when you wake up, every night before you shut your eyes down to sleep, and even in your dreams, he's there. The thought of him couldn't leave your mind, instead, its full of him.

"I will never forget about you, I'm going to live this life without any regrets, not just for myself, but also for you," you said, determined. "I know we will meet again, just wait for me, okey?" You voice almost broke, the wind suddenly blew you. "Is that a yes?" You chuckled. "I hope you won't complain if I hug you so tight that you might choke," you laughed but instantly stop.

"When did I complain about that?" His familiar voice echoed through your ears, that stiffed you for a moment. You notice another presence on your peripheral vision, you tilted your head to the side in surprise, there, you found him sitting next to you, with his usual warm smile.

"B-Baji?" Tears that you thought had dried up started to form another load again, you look away. "I'm imagining things again," your voice broke, covering your face with your hands.

"Hey, you shouldn't be crying, I told you, you really look terrible when you do that, didn't I?" You look back at his image again, he's still in there, grinning. "You need some sleep, you look tired you know, you should take care of yourself," he reminds you.

You just stare at him. His long black hair, bronze cat-like eyes, thick brows, slender broad shoulders, his unique tiny fangs. A 15 year-old boy that you were inlove with wearing an unbuttoned white polo shirt with dark blue shirt underneath it, paired with black pants. His hair were tied up, leaving some strands from both side of his face. Your eyes started to heat up again by just looking at him.

"Are you real?" Your voice trembled. "I hate it, I keep on seeing you everywhere, even when I close my eyes, I can still see you, smiling at me," you cried. "I'm starting to think that I'd gone crazy after you left," you murmured, throat dried up.

His smile widen, warmly. "Does it matter?"

"Ofcourse it does," you said slightly shouting at him.

He chuckled, looking forward. "When you said you love me, do you mean it?" He asked. You pursed your lips preventing yourself from crying, you nodded. "Would you be surprise if I tell you I already know that?" He turn his gaze back to you, smiling before l reaching his hand to your face, caressing your wet cheek, he feels too real, you can feel his warm. "You told me that yourself, kitten," he chuckled.

Your brows creased, confuse. "I did?"

He nodded. "I know you don't remember, but you'll know," he told you. He wrapped his arms around you. "Be happy, that's what I really want for you to do," he told you, pulling himself a bit away, cupping your face. "I will always love you, always," he softly whispered before kissing your forehead. He hug you again, one last time, he still feels warm, comforting. You was about to hug him back when his image slowly fading until it's fully gone from your sight, you ended up embracing yourself, crying again.

You was left, heartbroken, but glad.

You bit your bottom lip. "I will always love you too, in this lifetime, and in another one, and in every lifetime that I'll have, always," you smiled, wiping your tears, snuffling. "Always," you closed your eyes.

Moving on doesn't mean you have to forget about him, some love story might doesn't end happily, but you strongly believe that love will always stay, it remains unbreakable, endless.

In this lifetime, you decided to keep on loving him.

Your one great love, Baji Keisuke.
