"Hell?" Askel couldn't hold the comment back. "No way. We're leaving." He grabbed Albert's hand and started to get up.
"NO!"
She leaped towards them. Askel quickly picked Albert up bridal style and rushed towards the end of the train. Unfortunately, she was right on his tail. Not seeing any way out of this, Albert pushed himself out of Askel's arms and swung his now metal bat at her. She barely dodged it but couldn't dodge Askel's magic circles coming towards her. It wasn't his strongest attack, but it was enough to push her away from them. Albert and Askel on one side of the moving train, and Gunilla on the other.
She only had a scratch on her. It wasn't bleeding. It was more of those tiny yet just as painful as being sliced in half. She pulled out a knife. Both boys stepped back, shocked, but kept their stance. She threw the knife at them, and Albert hit it away with his bat. She threw another one towards them which Albert once again knocked away. Annoyed, she rushed towards them, and before either could react she sliced Albert's arm open. Hearing his cry of pain, Askel pushed her to the ground and kicked her. If he had enough time he would have used one of his magic attacks on her, but she kicked him down as well and held the knife to his neck. Askel gripped her arm, trying to keep it away. With his free hand he surrounded her with the magic circles and attacked her with them, quickly escaping and rushing over to Albert.
Unknowing to Askel, Albert too was running towards Askel. While Gunilla was recovering they crashed into each others arms.
"Holy shit Askel, are you ok?!"
Albert held Askel's face cheeks in his hands, Askel mirrored his position. It was uncomfortable, but neither could care right now.
"I should be asking you that, I saw the blood Al. Where did she get you?"
Albert raised his right arm up to Askel. It wasn't too bad, but it was still bleeding. Askel sighed, Albert could hear the concern in said sigh somehow. Askel found a napkin and started to wipe the blood off his arm. He found some rope in the lady's pocket and took it. He wrapped the wound in napkins and held it together with the rope. He didn't make it too tight. Albert always found that Askel was very good with his hands.
"I suppose we both have messed up arms now, huh?"
Askel smiled. Albert always knew how to cheer Askel up.
"I suppose so."
Before he realized what he was doing, Askel kissed his hand. Albert felt his face heat up, and he stared wide eyed at Askel. Askel realized what he did and quickly distanced himself from Albert.
"I'm so sorry I didn't-"
Albert took his hands into his own. He smiled at Askel. Really, he didn't mind the action. He was simply just shocked.
"Nothing to be sorry for, Askel." Albert took a breath. "If I can be honest, I didn't dislike it. I-"
Before he finished, Gunilla rushed forward and threw Albert onto the ground. Before Askel could react, Magnus dashed in front of him, placing himself in front of Askel and Albert. Askel went to Albert to make sure he was ok.
"What the hell Gunilla?"
Magnus stared Gunilla down. His eyes were back to their normal light green shade. He wasn't sobbing, nor did he have that painful look in his eyes. Albert looked up at him, he was glad to have his brother figure back.
"Ticket to hell. They did not have it."
"No shit. That's the reason no one comes here."
She fell silent afterwards.
"Just... just bring us to the exist, k?"
"...Sure."
A breath of air left Magnus' lips once she left the room. He turned to the two boys who were now standing up.
"I'm so sorry for the trouble you two. God and you're both bleeding... here, I have some bandages on me." Magnus motioned towards the seats. "Come, sit. You two must be tired."
The two hopped onto the seats and allowed Magnus to care for their wounds. He unwrapped Askel's napkin and rope thing and wrapped the cut in a soft bandage. It was a bit tighter than how Askel had wrapped it, but it wasn't the worst thing he'd felt. Magnus found another cut on his cheek and placed a band aid on it. He looked for any more wounds on him. When he didn't find anything, he smiled at Albert, and moved his attention to Askel.
"Shit, what did you do, Askel?" He tried to joke.
"I'm not sure, but I do know I'm never going on a train again."
Magnus snorted at the comment. He immediately noticed his bruised hands. He debated on wrapping them, but decided to save the bandages for the places that were bleeding. He found that Askel cut his leg while running away from Gunilla. He pulled up the leg of the overalls and wrapped the cut with as much care as he did with Albert's bruises. Magnus thought that he was finished, until Albert told him about the fall and asked if he could check of Askel's arm.
"Alright Askel," he started, "I need you to answer honestly, ok? How much pain are you in just sitting there without movement?"
"No pain." Askel replied.
"Good, good. Ok. Move it around a bit." Askel did as he was told. "Does it hurt at all?"
"Slightly? Like, barely anything. Enough where it feels uncomfortable though."
There was no swelling or bruising, so Magnus decided that his arm was in fact not broken.
"You're good then. I'd let it rest though."
Askel nodded.
"Other than that, you're both all good! Sorry for causing you such trouble."
"That? That was nothing!"
"Albert, we could have died." Askel added in.
"I can handle more than that."
"Whatever you say, Al."
Magnus smiled at their bickering. It was nice to be able to be with them like this again.
"Hey Mag? That reminds me, how do you and Gunilla even know each other?"
He did not like Albert's question though.
"I..." he debated on telling some cheep lie or just telling him the truth. He decided to go for the truth, "when I ran away from home, she brought me to Stockholm."
"Oh? Was she the same as now?" Askel asked him.
He shook his head.
"No. Well, yes? Mysterious? Yes. Insane? Definitely not. I heard about her taking people to "hell" years ago, just never confronted her about it. That's why this place is abandoned." Magnus paused for a minute. "People were disappearing left and right, everyone decided something was going on, so no one came here anymore. They blocked it off and everything. It's only by luck you two fell here."
The two looked at him. Magnus forgot the nice feeling of telling stories of his past. Was it painful? Yeah. Yeah it was. But seeing the interested look on their faces was... nice. Really nice. He missed this.
"So..." he started. "Anything else you wanna know?"
