Ace POV
Screaming, all he could hear was screaming it was strangely familiar, he jolted up, finding himself in a medical bed. What was going on, wasn't he to be executed? He felt something along his neck, pulling at the string he found a f/c hat was attached, a wave of memories from the previous day came rushing back. 'Y/n... where's y/n!?' He quickly got up ignoring the pain he was in, he rushed outside the submarine, breaking many things in a rush to the exit. The sun was blinding for a moment, the screaming was much louder outside, but it was now a recognize-able voice. 'Luffy...' once his eyes adjusted he could see Luffy running around breaking things and screaming, the strawhat boy turned to ace . "A-ace!? Ace....!" The two rushed to each other in a panic, embracing each other as if checking that the other was real. "W-where's y/n?" There was a moment of silence as Luffy went quite. "Luffy where's y/n?" The boy looked up, to his older brother as tears began to flood down his face, Luffy placed his trembling hands on his temples and shook his head he tried to form words to answer but none would leave his mouth afraid of admitting the truth, but by his actions it was clear to ace just what the horrific fact was. "D-damn it.... Damn it spark! You idiot you should be here not me! This is all my fault!"

A few hours later.

Ace sat down holding the hat y/n had placed on his head, he looked it over with teary eyes, a small note fell to the ground from the ribbon, he picked it up, Luffy came over looking at the note. It read. 'If you're reading this, it probably means I'm gone. Gosh I really don't know what to write to you guys, saying goodbye seems so hard. So I guess I'll keep it short and sweet, thank you. Both of you you've made my life amazing, I never thought I'd have normal friends. Or that I'd ever have family as amazing as you guys. Don't be too hard on yourselves, I'm sure you did the best you could and I'm more then happy to give my life for people who gave me so much joy and freedom. I'm sorry I have to leave you here. I hope one day you can forgive me for being so weak.'

Zoro gripped the newspaper in his hands, glaring at the caption. 'Infamous noble killer Spark appears at marineford with whitebeard pirates and dies along with the yanko himself.' The swordsman turned his head glaring at mihawk. "Why didn't you help? From what I understood you and y/n were friends they were supposed to see me defeat you!"
"I doubt anyone could of stopped a youth like that rushing to there own doom..." the warlord held his hat over his eyes a firm frown on his face.

"Just you watch mihawk! I'm gonna be red hairs next rival!" The young y/n yelled to the warlord in the meeting room

"Come on Zoro! Let's go train I wanna see your skill after all, I love sparring with the future greatest!"

Chopper screamed, tears flowing down his fuzzy Face.
. "If, if I had been there maybe I-I could of helped! I'm a doctor, I should of helped y/n! They're my friend my first friend they can't be gone! P-please y/n don't be gone! Because of you I have all these new friends, but I don't wanna give you up! I don't wanna lose you, don't be gone like the doctor.... Please don't.... Please don't leave me alone..."

"Your wounds don't hurt do they?"
"Not when the best doctor and friend is with me."

"Derishishishi" Robin tried to fight back tears, it had happened all over again. Someone who pushed her to live died, you were like a beacon of light who tore the darkness away from her, even when you yourself were scarred with the dark. You offered her freedom and friendship on alabasta, even after she attacked you. You trusted her with your mask, stood against your own friends to give her a chance. Faced an admiral, a man you grew up next to just to defend her. Faught the government while on the brink of death, and now you were gone. When you fell, it seemed like a pebble falling into the ocean but the affect was a tsunami of sadness. "Don't you think someone who runs so often should get to rest? We've all been threw hell some worse then others, well so has Robin! I'm sure of it, so give her a chance, I'll take full responsibility if she does something wrong." The phrases, they seemed from an age ago but still so vivid. Always giving her a chance, believing in her. If you were really gone, she couldn't stop here. You brought her back to the sea so many times, so when the times comes she'll return to the sea, to the friends you both had made.

Sanji looked at the newspaper at his side, his head was spinning. 'Y/n is dead? That can't be right...' memories swirled like a storm.

"Your dad Zeff, tell me about him." "He isn't my actual father." "He's the man who raised you right? An amazing man you look up to? Right?" "Of course." "Seems reason enough to call him your father. Unless your blood one is more deserving of the title." Sanji smiled "I guess so." "Oh and I wanna know about your mom, I bet she's where you get your good looks hehehehehe!" The cheery smile seemed seared into his memory now.

Tears dripped onto the table as Nami covered her face. "W-why.... You should be on the sunny, with me and the others." You always seemed to ask about her mother and sister.
"Why do you keep asking?"
"Oh I don't have any sisters, and I didn't really have a mom, and yours seemed so sweet. I bet she would be so proud of you!"

"Here Nami you can have all this gold I have!"
"Huh but y/n what about you!?"
"I still have some, consider it payment for how you light up all the stormy days around here."

Franky cried, a pile of tissues next to him.
You were so young! With so much spunk and enthusiasm. The first day he was on the crew you seemed to follow him around everywhere, he thought you might not trust him until you began to speak. "Ships are amazing aren't they!? The sunny is amazing! I'm so happy you're part of the crew. You're so cool and awesome! Can you teach me about building stuff? I've always wanted to learn!"
"That would be super! Come on let's go to my workshop downstairs!" "Oh and can you tell me about Tom? I've heard stories, but I wanna know more about the amazing man!"

Ussop weeped. Who was gonna protect him from the scary enemies now.... Who was gonna exchange stories with him. "Just remember we're still friends Ussop." Back on the merry, even though he was leaving, you still called out to him, not to stop him but to reassure him. 'Such an amazing warrior and friend... what are we gonna do without you...'

Brook looked at the paper before him. "Yohohoho..." he spoke sadly.
He hadn't known y/n for long which he regretted deeply. The young pirate would often times play music with the skeleton or dance. Pulling one of the crew members to dance with them, seemingly leaving any sorrow in the shadows. And now you were gone only the memories of your voice remaining, though he can't hear cause he has no ears yohohohohoh...

Crocodile saw it all happen, it had been days now. The image of the child he had spent so much time with falling to the ground dead. It still haunted him, he was furious, furious with strawhat, furious with the marines, furious with whitebeard and furious with the very child that worried him so. 'How foolish could you be!? To not only to join strawhats crew but to also ally yourself with whitebeard! Arrive at marineford and yell at the top ranking marines.' God even now it irked him. He thought he had taught you better, but it became clear he never taught you anything aside from how to light and pick out cigars. Now you were gone, 'It shouldn't hurt so much, they were just a brat, nothing important to me or to anyone.' So these must be crocodile tears, tears with no sincerity or care.

Boa was a whirl wind of emotions, she was so happy Luffy was safe and alive, but it caused her so much pain to know the cost that came with it. A sweet friend swept away by the actions of filthy men.

Jimbei cried, Jimbei cried so much. he had just gotten you back, and now you were gone, this time for good.

"Hey Jimbei I brought some short bread and chocolate chip cookies for the meeting today! You said you'd tell me a story if I gave you a cookie that was the deal right?! Well I brought the best ones!"
The memory of a small smiling y/n waving a bag of cookies at him left a warm comforting feeling that soon melted away into sadness and loss.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't help you little one..."

"Y-you promised you'd adventure with me.... Said you'd be there when I'd become the king of pirates... You never broke your promises to me! So why aren't you here!? We've faced so much together, we're family so you can't be gone!"

"No matter what Luffy, I'm not gonna leave."

Tears poured down the boys face.
"I don't wanna be king if you're not there!"
