The constricting fangs and the hypnotizing venom

Part 1

I feel around my mouth while walking to the village and I can feel the fangs and boy did they feel weird and having a forked tounge is so weird. I did find it weird that I don't really hiss like the other serpentine but I learned to not question these things as they leave to headaches down the road. We made it to the village and everyone is screaming at the sight of actual serpentine. The hypnobrai began tk hypnotize people being bored I walk around being ignored by the hypnotized villagers. I thought I saw a red and yellow blur I go to check it out and it turns out to be best girl Nya.

She looks up at me scared and I can tell she is trying to find a way to get away. I raise my hands up to show I mean no harm. "Calm down I'm not going to hurt you" I said hoping to ease some of the tension. "Yeah right your with those other serpentine" Nya says angrily. "Uh ok that's rude for assuming and I was gonna help you by telling you how they work and how to cure everyone, but I guess I will just be on my merry way then" I say pretending to walk off. "Wait!" Nya calls me. I turn around "Yyyeeeesss" I say smiling. "Can you please help me so I can tell the guys to help out." She begs. Since she is best girl I will do it. "Ok fine the big one with the tail and the staff is the general and he is in charge. The antivenom is in the staff. If you can take it to the fountain a fog will spread and cure everyone. If you hear them rattle their tails don't look them in the eyes  that's how they hypnotize you, got it?" I ask. She nods then runs off.

Waiting for the ninja to appear I decide to test one of my abilities. I try to turn myself invisible. After a about 15 minutes I understand it. It's like giving yourself goosebumps on purpose and it feels weird and you have to do it again to turn visible. Ok that's one power down. I have been thinking of a plan to keep an eye on the ninja but it's super risky and I'm taking a big gamble by doing this. I plan on hypnotizing one of the ninja other than Cole to see through their eyes to make sure the plot is going according to canon.

I know I am not gonna like this as I find the concept of hypnosis weird but I will do it for the sake of plot I just hope they never find out as I plan on cutting it off as soon as Lloyd begins to live with the ninja. I turn myself invisible again and wait for the ninja to arrive after about 10 more minutes I can hear them talking to Lloyd. "Sorry to bust your buzz, little Garmadon" Cole says holding his scythe. "But it's already past your bedtime." Jay says trying to do a one liner. Dude seriously it's still daytime. "Get them" Lloyd commands Slithraa who relays the message.

"The Serpentine? They're real?" Kai says shocked. 'No they are people in costumes' I thought sarcastically. The hypnotized villagers and the hypnobrai surround the ninja and they are huddled together. "It's not just them we have to worry about, the whole village has been hypnotized" Coel says concerned. Jay tries to use his nunchucks before Zane stops him saying their weapons were too unstable and they might hurt the people. "Oh then that just leaves us with RUN" Jay yells and I follow becuase I'm curious still invisible mind you.

They meet up with Nya and they are glad she's ok. Something I did notice is that Jay while he did look relieved he seemed different compared to canon oh well must be my imagination. "They hypnotized everyone in town" Nya says. "Wait mind control how do they do that" Jay asks confused. "When you hear them rattle their tails, don't look them in the eyes. That's how they get you" Nya explains what I told her. "How do you know that Nya" Kai asks. Wait a minute they never said that before. Nya began to look a bit nervous becuase of our encounter earlier. "A serpentine might have told me" Nya says. To which the ninja especially Kai promptly freak out like they should.

"YOU ENCOUNTERED A SERPENTINE AND TALKED TO ONE!?" Kai yells not loud enough to get spotted but still loud. The rest of the group asks if she is ok. "I'm fine guys this female serpentine told me. I thought I was done for but they said they meant no harm and told me how to help everyone". She explains. "But they're a serpentine they are not to be trusted" Cole says. 'Wow do I feel loved'I thought to myself sarcastically. "I don't know guys this one just seemed different than the others. I don't know why but I felt that we can trust her at least this time we can. I mean why would she give away how the tribe works and not hypnotize me and just let me go." She says to which the others reluctantly agree on that. "Fine I guess we will believe this rouge serpentine this time" Cole says reluctantly hoping he isn't going to regret this.
