Y/N'S POV
1 week later...
I was devastated that Aidan cheated on me. I told everyone about it since they kept bugging me to spill it out. Once I did, everyone did everything to cheer me up. Honestly, I don't know what I could do without them.
"Peter, you really don't have to." I smiled while he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the car.
"Come on Y/N, you did say you wanted to try the new flavors." He shrugged and pushed me in the passenger seat. What a gentlemen. I grumbled under my breath and looked at him. He closed his door and looked back at me.
"Peter-
"No."
"Oh come on you know-
"No Y/N."
Our faces we're only inches away from each other.
"Peter you have work you know-
7 inches .
"Y/N come on." He whined.
6 inches. My breath hitched. We we're arguing but our faces we're going closer by each second. Is that even a thing?
"We're going to go investigate Peter. End of discussion." I crossed my arms across my chest.
4 inches. Peter looked at me with his eyes squinted.
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
1 inch away.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
We both looked away from each other completely dazed out of thought. What the heck we're we about to do? Oh god. I shook my head and looked at Peter's window. It was Ned.
"Hey! Mind if I come?" He said while already entering the back seat. I smiled at him and nodded. He did a little victory dance and we we're off. We entered the ice cream shop and sat down in a corner after ordering. Peter and Ned we're talking and I was just going through my phone. I saw pictures of Aidan and Avery together and I just ignored it. Sucks to be them.
"Earth to Y/N!" Ned said loudly. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him. He chuckled.
"Yeah?" I said looking down.
"Are you alright?" Both boys said at the same time. I chuckled and nodded.
"I'm fine, don't worry about it." I faked a smile and ate my ice cream. I switched off my phone and looked outside the window. No villains. No sign of Liz. Nothing. I felt someone's hand on me and I looked to see Peter sitting beside me with a smile on his face. I looked around and saw Ned going in the restroom.
"Peter-
"You're not okay." He frowned a little. I smiled and squeezed his hand.
"I am." I nodded. He took his hand and placed it on my chin, turning my head towards him. My eyes widened slightly.
"Want to go home?" He said softly. I looked at him with slight surprise.
"Yes please." I smiled sadly at him. We we're looking at each other until someone cleared their throat.
"Okay you guys can go to Carol's place, I'll take the taxi home." Ned said. I frowned and stood up.
"No you're coming with us." I said.
"I would but my mom really needs me. Maybe tomorrow?" Ned winked at Peter. He just looked away frowning slightly.
"We can always send you home Ned." I smiled and ruffled his hair. He chuckled.
"Carol's house is quite far and I don't want to trouble you guys." He said.
"Are you sure Ned. We could always-
"I'm sure." He said with a smile. I returned it.
"So um how's MJ, do you guys still talk?" I whispered to him.
"Yeah we do talk, she's fine." Ned said with a nod. I really miss MJ. I definitely need to see her as soon as possible. I thanked Ned and gave him a hug. He returned it and waved goodbye to us. I hopped in the car and blasted some music.
"I feel okay when I see you smile. Smile." I sang along. Peter was looking at me with a little smile.
"You have a really great voice." He complimented. I thanked him and sang along again. Soon we reached Carol's house. It was raining heavily. I sighed and ran out of the car. I stopped in front of her house where there was shelter. Peter came along next, wearing his hood. I laughed when I saw how wet he was.
"I'm not coming in." He said firmly. I frowned.
"Why not?" I asked confused.
"Ned needs me for uh stuff." He shrugged. I nodded and looked at him suspiciously. We we're in an awkward silence until he spoke up.
"Y/N?" He said hesitantly.
"Yeah?" I looked at him. He took a deep breath and looked deep into my eyes.
"E-Ever since I saw you, I fell in love with you. Then I fell in love with the person you remembered you are. I got to fall in love with you twice. T-That's magic to me. You're the first thing I believed in since May. It's because you fight and you care and you're a-always kind but never easy, and you won't let anything take that away from you. I don't care if you think you're not the one. You are." He said confidently but his voice was cracking every second.
I stood there shock and frozen. He loves me? I mean I loved him. But do I now? I just looked at him in shock. He was looking at me while tapping his foot.
"You know what, ignore what I just said Y/N. I'm gonna go." He said while turning around. I didn't speak. I just looked at him walk away with his head low.
"P-Peter!" I choked out when he reached the car door. He just looked at me through the rain smiling sadly. Before I even knew it. He was gone. I walked in the house completely shocked. Carol and Sam we're the only people there. They we're researching stuff. They looked up at me and frowned.
"Hey!" Sam said. I just nodded and sat down on the couch. They both looked at me and sat down at either side of me.
"Hey are you alright kiddo?" Carol said while hugging me.
"P-Peter." I choked out again looking at her.
"Yeah where is he?" She asked confused. Sam side hugged me and listened.
"Peter just confessed to me guys and I stood there saying nothing." I said with a frown.

"Dear Peter Parker, are you a time traveler? Because I absolutely see you in my future."
