Will's pov

"Oh c'mon Will please? Y'know I can just charm-speak you into it" Piper McLean put her hand on her hip.

"Did Percy put you up to this?" Will said, continuing to walk.

"Surprisingly no. I miss Y/n." She grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Look if you don't help I'll just let Percy and Nico deal with you" She smirked.

"Ugh why can't you get any of the other medics? Why me?"

"Because your the best and Y/n needs help. We can't even get into the cabin. That's why Percy is staying in Jason's cabin while he's gone"

"Don't you guys normally go back to school" I ran my fingers through my hair, seeing Percy and Nico walking closer.

"1st of all it's Spring Break. 2nd of all my dad is shooting a movie so I'm staying year-round until he's done. 3RD of all now that we're all-" She faltered when she said all, thinking of Leo Valdez. "Now that we're all here we're not leaving Y/n again"

I pondered it for a second: Getting beat up by the two most powerful people at camp or help my sworn enemy come over her depression. I thought about it and I honestly felt really bad and the more I thought about the options, the more terrible I felt about not helping Jackson sooner. I was a medic for gods sake.

"I'll do it."

"Thanks Will!"

Piper's pov

"Hey Piper. Where's Will going? We were gonna invite him to lunch to see he wanted to talk " Percy said.

I smiled, "I have no idea"

Your pov

It was cold. So cold. If Leo was here he would warm me up. Leo. The name brought me back to three months ago. He refused to leave so I let him stay. Because of me he had died. It was my fault.

Flashback~

I screamed for him. But he wouldn't come back. An hour ago he was giving me a piggy-back ride in the snow, laughing. How could he be gone? The tears wouldn't stop. I'd rather be numb than feel the pain I felt. He was the first person that really loved me at camp. He was gone. I stayed at the snow cabin, next to Leo, for 3 weeks. I was going to die of hypothermia. I knew it, but I couldn't care. It was my fault Leo died.

"Y/N?!" A voice called out.

I didn't answer.

"Y/N!! OH MY GODS" Percy and Nico ran to me.

"Where's Leo?!" Percy asked.

No answer.

"Y/n? What ha-" Percy saw the body. "Oh Y/n" He pulled me off the body and hugged me. I stood still. I thought maybe if they found me, I would cry or do something. Maybe say how I missed Leo, but I stood still. I didn't shiver. I didn't hug back. I didn't cry. I just stood there, looking past Percy's shoulder, wondering what it would be like if Leo was still here. If I would have pushed him out of the way, or jumped in front of him he would still be here.

A week later was the funeral. We covered Leo in the burial shroud and cremated him.

I went to the cabin. I skipped dinner. They treated me for my hypothermia. I didn't come out of the cabin. I didn't talk, because if I did I would break, more then I already did.

End of flashback~ 

Someone pounded on the door, "JACKSON OPEN THE DOOR!" 

Will Solace, my enemy since I got to camp. What was he doing here?

It had been ten minutes and Solace was still there, trying to open the door. If he kept it up much loner he would succeed. Gods why couldn't he just leave me alone? We both hated each other. Then I heard him stop, finally.

"Jackson, please. I know you hate me, but everyone else is worried about you. You've been in there for two months and you haven't eaten anything. It's a miracle your still alive" He mumbled the last part under.

He tried the door one last time and- "AGH!" He fell inside.

I stared at him, thinking that was a very Leo thing to do.

He came and sat next to me trying to get me to eat some Ambrosia. It felt warm on my lips and I slowly ate some.

"You wanna talk?" He took me by surprise. I shook my head. "Should I go get Percy?" I thought of my brother. I didn't want him to see me like this. I shook it again.

"Do you want me to get anybody?" I shook my head again.

"Ok well you're stuck with me, because I need to make sure you're okay. Got it Kelp Brain?" He said, combining Annabeth's and Nico's nickname for my brother together.

I nodded and could have sworn the corners of my mouth lifted a little bit.
