Y/n's pov

~A few weeks later~

"Finally! You don't understand how happy I am to be out of here" I jumped up, smiling.

"Oh c'mon it's not that bad" Will said.

"You've barely seen the sun in days! You've been in here with me! How is that not bad?"

"Because I'm with you" he chuckled and we left.

"Y/n!" Someone ran up to me as we were walking to eat lunch.

"Josh! Gods I haven't seen you in forever!" My high school friend engulfed me in a hug. I walked with him outside. "What do you mean you haven't been claimed?! It's been over a year and a half."

He just shrugged, "Anyway, that was quite the show you put on a few weeks ago. You didn't even tell your best friend that you had a new boyfriend"

He looked down, sadly and I blanched. "Oh gods I'm so sorry. I totally forg-"

He chuckled and looked at me again, "Chill out I'm messing with you"

I pushed him playfully. "You'll never guess who's here"

"Who?"

"Britney!"

"WHAT?! How have I not seen her?"

I shrugged, "I don't know. Everywhere I turn she's there"

He slung his arm around my shoulder, playfully, "Don't worry I'll protect you."

"Says the boy who dated her" I snorted.

"Doesn't count. She fooled me"

"Ok and how was that? With her good looks?" I batted my eyes and he tried to come up with a retort but failed. "Stupid" I grinned and pushed him away.

"Stupid for you" he pulled my hand and I laughed, swatting him away.

Will's pov

Y/n walked off with a boy who I didn't know. Jealousy flared inside me, but I pushed it down. After I finished eating, I walked outside and saw the boy grab Y/n's hand while she laughed. I went up to them and pulled Y/n towards me, kissing her.

She smiled against me, knowingly. I pulled apart after a few seconds and turned to the brown hair boy, "Mine" I growled. I saw Y/n flush and I pulled her to the cabin, wrapping my arms around her, pulling her down onto the bed. "Mine" I repeated to her.

"Yours" She scooted closer to me and we drifted off to sleep.
