"Never Fall for the Enemy"

(Y/N) had walked into the room, holding two cups of tea and a gentle smile that faded the minute she noticed the tension that filled the room. "Did I miss something?"

Todd looked up at (Y/N) as he answered her question, "I was just telling these two about your position at the army,"

"Wait, what?!" (Y/N) jumped out of fright, spilling a bit of the tea on the floor.

Tom and Edd both gave each other looks of concern.

"You didn't--"

"(Y/N), what is he talking about?" Edd asked.

"I... I--"

"(Y/N)," Todd spoke up, "Can I speak with you in private?"

Unsure of what to do, (Y/N) followed right behind Todd, her heart beating fast as she was now alone with Todd, who had a small scowl on his face as he spoke.

"Care to explain what this is all about?"

(Y/N) was silent, the floor being much more interesting than the angry norsk in front of her.

"Making friends with the people I sent you to kill," Todd growled as he pointed a finger at the two boys who were in the living room. "Your actions have consequences, ever heard that phrase?"

(Y/N) could only nod. "Good, because I'm going to show you the consequence to this action,"

Todd walked away from (Y/N) and made his way in front of Tom and Edd. The eyeless man huffed out of annoyance while Edd turned his attention to Todd.

"(Y/N) has something she'd like you to know," Edd and Tom raised a brow at Todd's statement. "You know how I said (Y/N) is in the army?"

"Well, the leader of that army, is right in front of you,"

Tom quickly stood up to once again try and strangle the red-hooded individual and, once again, Edd stopped him.

"Edd," said man turned his head to Todd, "You should really should start trusting Tom's instinct more often,"

"What is that supposed to mean?" Edd said, a bit of worry laced his voice.

"The name's Tord, Tord Lawson,"

Edd let go of Tom out of shock, so Tom took this as a chance to grab a hold of Tord, choking the norsk as he began to yell in the light brunette's face.

"Stop playing around. You're no leader," while Tom argued with Tord, Edd had turned his attention from the two boys to (Y/N), who watched the situation as she hid behind a wall.

The two locked eyes, staring at each other for a few minutes before a loud thud and yell stopped their staring contest.

"You leave (Y/N) out of this!" Tom screamed, pushing Tord's head down with his foot and pulling the norsk's arm back.

Edd and (Y/N) watched the fight more closely. Tord was clearly overpowered by the raging Tom. But the fight really got interesting when Tord spat out the truth of why (Y/N) was there.

"Well, guess what! (Y/N) was sent here to kill you! She would have betrayed you, even if I didn't come over to help speed up the process!"

Tom's grip on Tord loosened, his face falling a bit at the truth. A truth that he refused to accept, "You're lying!" His grip tightened to the point that Tord yelped in pain.

"You just can't accept the truth because you trusted her!" Tord yelled, his voice shaking as he couldn't take the pressure Tom was putting on his scarred arm.
