Mila's pov

"Stop making a fuss," Her mother, Janine swatted her hand away, "you're just making it worse"

"I'm helping," Mila told her, catching Talia's amused expression in the mirror with an eye roll.

"You're really not" her best friend commented, earning a knock to the shoulder.

"Fine, I'll leave shall I" she over dramatised, sighing loudly as Talia, Freya and Gee laughed at her.

It felt good, being with all of them again, it felt like they hadn't seen each other, or even been in the same room all together, in months. That's just how life was at the moment for them though.

Whilst the boys still saw each other regularly, due to their job, the past few years had sped up all of their careers. Talia's singing, Freya and Gee's streaming, even Mila had worked her way up the ladder at a local firm in which she set up events; useful with her friendship group.

Truth be told she had missed it, more than anything in the world.

"Nope, we're not allowed to leave the room," Talia told her, smiling at the photographer as she took random photos throughout the room, "can't see them before the big moment"

"I'm pretty sure that's just you, Tal" Mila told her, shaking her head with a laugh.

"Yeah, but if I can't see Si yous can't see them either"

It was fair, Talia had been worried about this most of all, that we'd all go off during the day to see other people and leave her alone. Like they'd ever leave her on her big day, possibly the biggest day of her life.

"I know, Tal, I was going to check see how full the room is" Mila explained, her hand gripping the door handle, receiving an unimpressed 'hmm' in return before slipping out of the room.

It didn't take long to get to the Church, it was across the pathway from where Talia and the bridesmaids had been getting ready. Her lilac dress hugged from her body nicely, swaying lightly as she walked, creeping closer to the glass doors, scanning the crowd.

"Yous almost ready?" A voice startled the girl, causing her to jump, "dying to get to the club after for a bev"

"Really, Louis? Can't hold off for an hour" she chastised.

"So it's going to be an hour?" He joked.

Mila smiled, shaking her head at her older brother, you'd never guess he was older by his attitude though.

He held Elliot in his arms, his third birthday had just passed a few weeks ago, she'd enjoyed the party, even dragged Harry all the way up to Middlesbrough to sit in the local grotty bar with a half pint and disco lights to celebrate, but he was drinking and couldn't find time to complain between interrogations from Louis and her cousin, Sophie.

"You're looking handsome," she spoke softly, shaking his little hand, the little blond boy giggling in return.

"Cheers," his dad replied with a smirk, earning a slap to the arm, which he grabbed dramatically, only making Elliot giggle harder.

They stood silent for a few moments as Mila continued playing with Elliot, only when she was about to leave did Louis speak up.

"I'll walk you...you know" he spoke almost in a whisper, looking down like he never wanted her to hear in the first place.

"What?"

"When...if, you even get married," he continued, missing her eyes tearing, "reckons someones gotta do it and Dads, well he can't really can he so-"
