Inkopolis' Anomaly

I'm going to try a new way of writing for when characters talk they'll have their own lines, as to not confuse anyone on who's talking and to also not mix up characters talking in their heads and just situational writing. Hopefully it works out okay.

???: "Analysis complete, subject to be awakened in 2 hours."

As the computer talked, the power began to come back on, activating the advanced hydroponics, water filtration system, med bay, and other various facilities, an hour has gone by, by then, all facilities and rooms began to function as normal. The computer then started to begin the process of thawing me out and watching my vitals to make sure everything was stabilized. Once the cryo pod was finished thawing and opened, I woke up extremely weak and fragile.

Although I was awake, I still wasn't able to open my eyes as the lights bothered them. I then felt a chair nearby and slowly sat down, I soon heard the bunkers system activate and suspend the chair a few centimeters off the ground and take me to the med bay.

Y/N: "Ugh, my head hurts. Where... Where am I?"

The system began to give an automated answer.

???: "you are located in the med bay, beginning diagnostics... ... ... Diagnostics complete, all vitals are stabilized, body weakened, suggesting to rest before heading to the gym."

Y/N: "Take me to a bed... Wake me up in a few minutes."

As I began to slowly open my eyes I noticed that it was very quiet except for the sound of the system operating. I was about to look around for anyone else, but as soon as I was about to my head began to hurt again, this time a whole lot more.

Y/N: "Arghh!!! WHA-WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME!!!"

Then, it all started to come back. The memories of what happened before I woke up, my breakfast with Mom, the laughs with my siblings at school, my friends, the studying, the car ride to the mountain range, and the... The water... It all came back suddenly, my head began to feel as if it was pounding, just then the system realized what was happening and had given me anesthetics putting me to sleep. As if I didn't just have one for however long it was. That reminds me...

What day is it?

5 km from the bunker. A city of some sort can be seen...

???: This is not good... Not good at all.
Ever since Grandpa and Agent 3 went away for some "Research trip to the cape", everything has been going downhill. First Callie goes missing, then the Zapfish is stolen from the Octarians and DJ Octavio escaped his globe.

???: "Even though you put me in charge of protecting Inkopolis, I let you down by letting all of this happen... No. No I can't give up yet, Grandpa would continue on with trying to help, Agent 3 would probably go out and fight the Octarians again, and what would I do? I know! I may be only one person but I cant give up! I guess I'll just have to go to the plaza and recruit someone to help."

1 hour later at the bunker...

I woke up again this time not as weak and frail as before and also in a different room. Since me head was still hurting but the pain was going away I decided to lay on the bed that I was on and look around my surroundings the only things I could see was that I was still in the med bay and that my vitals were currently on a monitor nearby

Y/N: "Why... Why did you only make one pod... Why did only I have to live.."

As I continued to question why everything was happening, a weird green glowing orb had entered the room???

???: "Hello Y/N."

My eyes widened as I realized that the orb just talked. I began to question myself if wether or not I had finally gone insane

???: " you don't have to worry, I'm here to help you. I am the Bunker A.I system but my creator gave me a name to make it easier to talk to, it is Jade. Jade is my name."

Okayyy, now I think I really did go insane. A.I.? Jade? But, for some odd reason I felt relieved when I heard her name, I was trying to remember where I had heard that name from but I think I'll worry about that later.

Y/N: "Okayyy "Jade", is... Is there anything else I should know about? I'm still confused about my... Situation." I said still a little confused

(A.I.)Jade: "yes, there's more that you need to know, but we can talk about it during breakfast seeing as how you just woke up, so come on, I put your food in the dining room." she said cheerfully

She then started to hover towards the doors of the med bay, I also began to follow her, slowly, but the fact that there was food waiting for me gave me a boost of energy and I soon started to walk a little more better.

It seems that for now Jade and I are the only ones in the whole bunker, but when we got to the dining room. I got the news. The news that...

That I'm a kid that's out of place... And Out of time...

And so this concludes chapter 1 of this story. Also I'm thinking about adding the actions, emotions, and/or the physical interpretation of characters at the end of them talking, not every single one will have and action or emotion but most will do
(Ex: "Hello!" They said with joy and ecstatic)
