'I'm sorry. I really like all the Korean dishes you guys have, but pasta just doesn't taste the same as the pasta we have back home.' You say with a disgusted face and a mouthful of improvised pasta carbonara.
'I warned you Y/N.' Ji-Ho says. 'What did you get up to today? I bet it's way more interesting than me cleaning up hair for 8 hours straight.'
'Ah well. I went to the N Seoul tower which was beautiful.'
'Ah very nice.' She answers.
'I visited the Bukchon Traditional village.'
'Great part of history.' She answered.
'And I went to the Naru park and stood on this poor guy's hand.'
'Hahaha.' She laughs. A moment passes and she asks 'Wait, really?'
'Yeah, oh Ji-Ho it was so embarrassing. I wanted to sit by the water, so I decided to jump over the little fence and I fully landed on this guy's hand who was just chilling there with the same idea.' You answer.
'That's so funny!' She snorts.
'It was, looking back at it now. I had a conversation with him and I even took a selfie. You want to see it?'
'Yes of course!' She says grasping your phone out of your hand with the selfie on it.
'He looks a little sketchy dressed in all black like that with the beanie. Like he's about to rob a corner store or something.' She says.
'He was very nice about it. He had a pair of the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.' You say grabbing your phone back, staring at the stranger.
Ji-Ho notices 'Oh Y/N is catching feelings huh?'
'No no get that idea out of your head.' You say slapping Ji-Ho on the arm again.Ji-Ho miraculously got you an interview through a friend and she didn't want to tell you the name of the company or position. So mysterious. It was a position that had something to do with styling though. After sending them your portfolio they decided to invite you.
You arrive at a very tall building. You stand at the foot of it and look up. The side of the building reads in very big letters 'JYP'.
'Oh cool. It's the company of that Kwang guy.'
'Alright, will Y/N L/N please come in?' A short and stiff about 45 year old lady asks you and all the other people waiting in the waiting room.
'I wasn't expecting there were this many people invited for an interview.' You think to yourself.
You tried to look as professional, but fashionable, as you could today. You put on a short blazer with some matching elegant pants and a pair of high heeled boots. You walk into the room, following the short lady.
'Alright Y/N, let's get right into it. You are not from Korea originally, are you?' You feel your palms sweating already.
'No miss. I am originally from Y/Country, but I've been studying Korean for about 6 to 7 months now and I can confidently say that I have no problem understanding and speaking Korean.' You tell the lady.
'Yeah well I've noticed that by now.' She says smiling at you relieving some of your stress.
'I really enjoyed looking at your portfolio. You have a great sense of style. Where does this come from?'
'Well, my mother has always been a great inspiration for me. She has always shown me great designers like Thierry Mugler and Michael Kors. She herself is also a very fashionable lady.' You answer.
'Where do you envision yourself in this company?'
'Well that's a question I have trouble answering without sounding too greedy.' You say smiling to the woman.
'I envision myself a professional stylist and designer. I want to translate needs into a product that perfectly fits it. I want to make people want more. I want to put my all into something, look at it when finished and be able to pat myself on the shoulder.' You say with strong passion in your voice. 'And I envision myself doing that, at this company.'
The woman taps on her laptop for a little while, looks at you with a straight face and says. 'Alright well, thank you for your time. You will be notified in 2 to 3 workdays.'
She stands up, bows to you and you follow her back to the waiting room. When leaving the building you think to yourself 'That either went amazing, or horrible.'You decided to meet up with Ji-Ho at a bar.
'She was so scary, but that makes me want the job even more.' You explain to Ji-Ho and two guys that joined your table named Sung-Ho and Minjun.
'I like your ambition.' Sung-Ho says, looking very deeply into your eyes.
Ji-Ho notices and tries to break the silence by saying 'Who wants some more beer?' To which everyone replies 'ME!'
You guys have a great evening. Ji-Ho and those guys are absolute party animals. They convinced the DJ to turn the music up to a max, they somehow got free drinks and it seems they make friends with everyone they talk to.
At one point Sung-Ho jumped on the table to dance and reached out a hand for you to join him. You take his hand and stand besides him on the table. You almost slip off but he catches you with his arm around your waist. He again, looks extremely deep into your eyes and you think to yourself 'F*ck it.' as both your lips seem to be getting closer to each other until they touch. It's about 2AM and you are extremely drunk. You're the kind of drunk in which it's a little difficult to make decisions for yourself. Sung-Ho notices.
'You want to come over to my place?' He asks. You are pretty much unable to answer but Sung-Ho takes your silence as a 'yes'.
When leaving the bar you turn around one last time to see if you can spot Ji-Ho, but your vision is so blurry.
'Where are we going?' You say giggling to yourself since you look so silly trying to walk. You look to Sung-Ho who is keeping a firm grip on your waist.
'My appartement is about a 5 minute walk from here, you think you can make it?' He asks you while still smiling.
'He's also really drunk. Do I want this?' You think to yourself.
The cold air from outside helps you sober up a tiny bit. Just enough so your vision's better. You guys very clumsily make your way to Sung-Ho's appartement.
'Alright, almost there Y/N.' He says. You walk past a guy dressed in all black.
'Hey, I think I know you.' They guys says locking eyes with you.
