1. What inspired you to start writing?

I have been writing since I was a 3rd grader. I would sit outside at recess and write and draw! My brother and I played make-believe with anime characters, and to a great degree, we still do. Although he is 30, married, and completing his PhD, and I channel my creativity into all my stories, we still play our roleplaying game more than once on 抖阴社区. Inspiring SERA’s NIRVANA was Urusei Yatsura, Ranma ½, and of course our games.

2. Tell us a little about your current book.

SERA’s NIRVANA is a slow burn LGBT romance with healthy doses of action, adventure, and even literary fiction. It’s inspired by my youth and my youthful infatuation with anime. It’s an unconventional multi-part series!

3. Does writing energize or exhaust?

It energizes me. Sometimes I get so pumped whole writing that I have to stop because I lose focus and start pacing around, excited about what happens next.

4. What is your kryptonite?

My kryptonite as a writer? Well, I’d say it’s bad air quality. I write outside and when the air is bad I don’t go outside. No going outside, way less fun writing

5. What are some words despise that have been used to describe your writing by reviewers and/readers?

I don’t despise any comment! I’m gladdened by people reading what I’ve written, even if they don’t like it!

6. Do you get creative block?

No, I don’t get 抖阴社区r’s Block. Assuming I have a good writing environment, I can always work on my writing

7. What was your favourite part to write on the story?

I like it all, except I don’t like writing action scenes. They kinda bore me! I enjoy writing Elo’s poems, albeit those don’t get underway until Issue #5

8. Is there a formula for becoming a 抖阴社区 star? If not what advice can you give to the upcoming writers who want to be 抖阴社区 stars?

It was a surprise to me. I just got told one day that I was invited to join, and this was during a period I was primarily focused on Amazon. It was reinvigorating! My advice is this: don’t quit on 抖阴社区, because you never know when you’ll hit your next milestone. A writing career is one of stillness for years then sudden advancement!

9. Do you think a writer should follow every single suggestion from reviewers or critics?

Every single one,” no. But I think a writer should take every non-trolling comment seriously.

10. Your story has unique names. Eg, Otoka, Elo.  How do you come up with such names?

Some are from my childhood stories. Others just sounded good. Most of the characters also adhere to, basically, Japanese convention.

11. Congratulations on hitting 4.11 k on Sera's Nirvana! Now to the fun part, will you rather date a ghost or a dead plant?

Thanks! And haha, I don’t think I’d date either, because I wouldn’t date anybody. I’m focused on Buddhism and writing. :) I love my time alone, although I enjoy time with friends and family too. But relationships… not for me! I leave those to my characters!
