Bakugo x Y/N (reader)

It's not long before other students are trickling past you in the hall and a pissed off Bakugo storms ahead of you. Glaring at you as he passes by. Kirishima and a guy with a bird head, along with Bakugo are already seated in class.

You can still hear Aizawa's loud snoring coming from the front of the classroom. You enter the class and take your seat. Next, Iida enters and slowly over the next few minutes, the rest of the class files in.

The bell signaling the start of class rings and Aizawa rises out of his sleeping bag, yawing and stretching as he faces the class. "As you know," he begins, "We not only have the hero course, but also teach the subjects you would learn at any regular high school." His gaze is mostly focused on you and you can tell that this speech is mostly for your benefit. "So now, we will be continuing on in math from where we left off last week."

After math, Aizawa left and a different teacher came in to teach English. The other students call her Midnight and you have to say, her costume seems very revealing for teaching at a high school. Mineta practically drools over the stunningly beautiful teacher for the entire lesson. When Midnight concludes teaching the instructional part of the lesson, she proceeds to explain a project that we will be working on in pairs.

"Okay," Midnight announces, "Now, I will be listing of your pairings. This is who you will complete the project with and no switching!" There are some groans and a few happy "yessss's". "Alright, and the first pair is Mineta and Iida."

Iida slams his head on the desk and Mineta gripes, "Noooo, I wanted to be with one of the ladies!"

"Anddd on to the next pair," Midnight continues, pairing Kirishima with Momo, Mina with Todoroki, Uraraka with the invisible girl, and Denki with the bird boy. She goes on until more than a third of the class is paired up and there aren't very many people left. "Let's see," Midnight says as she scans her list, "Y/N, you're with Bakugo."

Your stomach drops and you don't hear any of the other pairs Midnight calls out. All you can do is stare at the desk in front of you and try not to get too worked up. You tense when a small hand lands on your shoulder.

"It's okay," Uraraka whispers comfortingly, "It's just a project, so I'm sure everything will be fine."

"Easy for you to say," you tilt your head and mutter back to her, "You got paired with that other girl."

You sigh and brace yourself as you tilt your head to glance back at Bakugo. Yup. Just like I thought. Boy, is he glaring. He stiffens when he meets your gaze and his furrowed brows knit together even more.

You face Midnight again when she starts to announce something else, "Also you will have to complete this project on your own time, so make sure you work on it with your partner outside of class."

You let out a soft groan at the bad news and try to figure out how you can make this work. An idea forms in your head and you quickly tear out two sheets of black notebook paper and get to writing.

Midnight gives you the last ten minutes of class to get into your groups and start planning your projects. You finish the last sheet of paper and steel yourself before getting up to approach Bakugo.

You look up and most of the groups have already paired off, talking about their projects spread out around the classroom.

The desks around you are empty and you are about to rise up and approach Bakugo, when he materializes in front of you, hands in his pockets and slumps into the desk in front of you where a weird looking quiet boy always sits.

"So, you're my partner," Bakugo drones sardonically and turns around to face your desk.

Before he can get mad at you again and go off on yet another angry tirade, you jump right in and explain to him your plan. "Here," you set down the two papers in front of him, "I divided up all the work for the project equally into two parts. That way we don't have to see each other out side of school and interact any more than necessary. If we really need to, we can just meet up briefly before or after class."
