A week and a half later since you came to this school and Bakugo is still constantly glaring hostilely at you all throughout class, Uraraka informs you since you cannot see what Bakugo is doing all the time because he sits behind you. Alas, you do not have eyes in the back of your head. You used to be extremely unnerved by his unnecessary glares, but now you barely notice them anymore. He just comes with a built in resting bitch face, that ironically never rests.
Today is the day you finally get to move in to your new dorm room after school! You brought a suitcase with you that you finished packing over the weekend and will bring to your new room with the pre-offered assistance from Uraraka and Momo. Higakure will be helping organize all your stuff later this weekend because apparently she loves doing that sort of thing.
You know your new room will be right next door to Momo- well, next door to Momo's second room. Momo is rich and has so much stuff that she needed an extra bedroom to fit all her things. So her actual bedroom is two doors down from you, with all her extra furniture being in the room by yours.
You bounce in your seat excitedly, already prepared for the day to be over. You cannot wait to live on campus. It means so many great things, like no more long commute to school, more time to sleep in during the mornings, and the best part is being so close to all your new friends!
You have grown super close with Uraraka, Higakure, and Mina. You consider Momo, Jiro, and Tsu to be your close friends now too.
The first classes pass by quickly and the bell for lunch rings, finally releasing you.You walk to the cafeteria with Uraraka and she leads you to a table where Mina and Midoriya are already sitting. "Hey, guys," Deku greets you and Uraraka as you both sit down on the bench across from him and Mina.
"H-hey, Deku," Uraraka says a little shyly and you think you see her blush. You smile coyly as you watch them interact. I think Uraraka might have a crush on Midoriya! You think to yourself. You make a note to watch them more closely and see if anything develops. Mina chatters on alongside Deku obliviously and you wonder if anyone else notices if there is anything going on between Deku and Uraraka.
You'll have to ask Momo or Higakure later because Mina can't keep her mouth shut to save her life. She is the least tactful person you know and is also the biggest gossip.
You shake your head reminiscing on all the random things Mina has told you so far since you have been here.
Carrying a lunch tray, Denki sits down beside Mina and Kirishima sits on the other side of Deku. Lagging a bit behind and appearing to be forcefully dragged along by Kirishima, Bakugo sits down next to Kirishima while grumbling incoherently the entire time.
You glance at Bakugo, who is sitting diagonally across the table from you. "Hey, Kacchan!" Madoriya enthusiastically greets him.
"What do you want, nerd?!" Bakugo snaps combatively and you look away.
"Anyway," Uraraka continues saying to Mina, "I was thinking we could host a little welcome dinner for Y/N back at the dorm since she is officially moving in tonight!"
Bakugo's head snaps up to glare at you hearing this and Mina claps her hands excitedly.
"This is perfect! In fact, I think we should make it party!!!" Mina says happily, throwing her hands in the air.
"Mina, that's a great idea," Deku says.
"Yeah," agrees Kirishima, "And we can play a bunch of party games."
Denki nods vigorously, very much approving of the party games idea, "Yeah! We can play 7 minutes in heaven, strip poker, spin the bottle, truth or dare- OW!"
"Shut up, you pervert!" Mina smacks Denki rough on the back of the head.
"Ow! That really hurt," Denki whines. "And all of my game ideas weren't bad!"
"Oh yeah?" Mina counters, "Name one game you just listed that isn't completely sleazy."
Denki thinks hard for a moment before coming up with nothing, so he pouts and remains silent.
"Yeah," Mina crosses her arms, "That's what I thought."
"Don't worry," Deku says, "We'll come up with some other fun games that we all can play."
Kirishima considers for a moment before saying, "Well, the truth or dare game Denki suggested isn't bad. So we could still play that one."
Denki grins at Kirishima excitedly, "See! I come up with good games!"
"Hey, Y/N, what kind of cake do you like anyway? Tsu, Momo, and I were going to bake you one for the dinner," Uraraka says.
"Aww, you guys didn't have to do that! Thank you, that's so sweet." You think about it, "If I had to choose, I really like bananas, so a banana cake would be nice."
"Tch, bananas?!" Bakugo scoffs. "Who the hell puts bananas on a cake?"
"Kacchan," Deku complains, "That's not nice."
"Shut it Deku. No one asked you!"
Kirishima nonchalantly thrusts his elbow into Bakugo's side like this happens all the time, "Don't listen to Bakugo over here, he's just messing around."
Bakugo opens his mouth to say something again, glaring daggers at Kirishima, but he just hits his elbow into Bakugo's side again before he can say anything.
Kirishima turns his attention to Uraraka, "Hey, do you need any help making the cake? Me and Bakubro over here would be more than happy to go out and buy some ingredients for you after school."
"What the hell? NO WE WOU-" Bakugo sputters as Kirishima elbows him yet again.
"That would be great actually," Uraraka acknowledges gratefully. "We could use the extra help."
Deku jumps in, "Do you mind if I come shopping with you and Kacchan? I'd like to help out too." Deku looks hopefully at Kirishima.
"Sure, no problem bro! The more the merrier," Kirishima grins.
"Since you all are going," Denki comments, "I'm going with you too."
"All right then!" Mina cheers, "Party at the dorm after school for dinner!"
You smile happily around at everyone, "I can't wait!"
