(Unedited)
After shopping at the market and bidding Justice Strauss goodbye with bags of groceries in our arms, the four of us walked back to the front doors of Count Olaf's house. Although the house itself hadn't changed much from when we arrived, everything seemed a little bit brighter.
"Klaus, what's that thing James Brown said?" asked Violet as I closed the front door.
"I feel good," Count Olaf answered before Klaus could get a word in. He went into the backroom covered by a curtain chanting, "And a one, and a two, and a..."
All of sudden a group of people up the stairs playing instruments began singing,
It's the Count, it's the Count, it's the Count!
It's the Count, it's the Count, it's the Count!
Speaking of the Count, he came out from the curtained room now wearing a red cape. He walked forward, knocking a vase over and ignoring the mess as he sang,
Who else has such robust good looks in such a large amount?
I'm handsome and I'm talented and love your bank account!
It's the Count, it's the Count, it's the Count!
It's the Count, it's the Count, it's the Count!

It's the Count!
"The Count!" He sang when we all stood there silently.
"Yes, we've met," Violet told him, causing me to smile.
"Orphans," Count Olaf said, slightly out of breath. "This is my theater troupe."
As they all greeted us, I took in each one of them and noticed a man with hooks for hands, a very tall bald man, someone of indeterminate gender, and twin white-faced women.
"And as anyone in the theater knows, after a grand entrance, the audience is supposed to applaud," Count Olaf continued.
"'Applaud' means go like this," said the Hook-Handed Man, clapping his hooks together.
